With the expansion of China's enrollment scale and the realization of educational equity.The proportion of students in health classes in colleges and universities is increasing.Due to the exemption from the national physical health test,their physical health is easily overlooked.With the proposal of the "Healthy China" strategy,their physical health has also received more and more attention.Wu Qin Xi is one of the traditional fitness programs of the Chinese nation and is suitable for public practice.This study explores the fitness effects of Wu Qin Xi exercise on the body shape,function and physical fitness of college health class students,and provides a reference for the establishment of physical education courses for health class students.Using the overall sampling method,2 classes(50 in each,20 candidates)for the 2018 and 2019 health classes of Anhui Normal University.We were selected as experimental objects of which 2 classes in 2018.And selected the control group from two classes in2019.The experimental group do the Wu Qin Xi exercise 10 weeks,two days per week,five cycle each day;the control group focused on the theoretical study of health and physical education courses.And recommended daily life and sports that can do their best under the premise of safety.Without intervention.The body shape(height,weight),body function(heart function,lung function),and physical fitness(grip strength,balance)indicators were used for testing and evaluation,by collecting the methods of literature,experiment,expert interview and mathematical statistics,to explore the impact of Wu Qin Xi on various indicators of weak students.The following results are obtained:(1)Wu Qin Xi has no significant effect on the body shape of college health class students.However,there is a positive improvement trend in the overall score of body composition,which can enable the health classes of college students to maintain a good body shape in a healthy state.(2)In terms of physical function,vital capacity and systolic blood pressure are statistically significantly different.The rest of the indexes,diastolic blood pressure,heart rate,and step test did not change significantly.It shows that Wu Qin Xi can promote the improvement of lung capacity of college health class students,and it can also play a certain role in improving the systolic blood pressure in quiet state.(3)In terms of physical fitness,through the practice of Wu Qin Xi,the grip strength of both left and right hands,eyes closed with both feet,eyes opened with left foot,eyes opened with right foot,and the balance of total scores are significantly improved,indicating that the practice of Wu Qin Xi can improve the strength and quality of health class students and Balance ability,but the impact on flexibility is still to be further experimentally studied.(4)Wu Qin Xi is suitable for the teaching of physical education courses in health classes in colleges and universities.It has a good fitness effect and has a positive effect on improving the physical functions and physical qualities of students in health classes.
