Pop-up book is cross-disciplinary that contains multiple factors and various levels.It is a book with spatial multiple aesthetics,and covers a wide range of subject areas.It is different from ordinary books in that it has three-dimensional space,which makes reading and appreciating tighter.The arts discipline is one of the most effective disciplines for cultivating students' spatial ability.For junior high school students who are constantly awakening to their self-awareness,reading pop-up book is beneficial to the cultivation of their spatial ability.Therefore,this study introduces pop-up book into junior high school art education,analyzes the design of pop-up book and innovates teaching content,and guides junior high school students to appreciate pop-up book,explore three-dimensional shapes in the book,original imaginative designs,and practice to make junior high school students in the progressive teaching content,it stimulates the keen interest in art education.Through effective education,junior high school students can acquire pop-up book making techniques step by step,strengthen the awareness of space in the mind,and continuously improve the ability of spatial creativity in creation and practiceThis article divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which elaborates and analyzes the background,significance,methods used,current status at home and abroad,and innovations of this research.In the second part,starting from the definition of pop-up book,the five major types and characteristics of pop-up book are introduced in detail.The third part analyzes the characteristics of physical and mental development of junior high school students,and elaborates the use of pop-up book and the value in art educations.In the fourth part,the meaning of spatial creativity is defined,and the four major indexes for judging spatial creativity are initially formed,and the pop-up book is an effective way to improve spatial creativity of junior high school students from practice.The fifth part discusses in detail the effective teaching method of case in class that pop-up book is introduced into junior high school art education,and proves the effectiveness of pop-up book teaching on the spatial creativity of junior high school students.The last part summarizes the article.
