The Research Of The Project Of The Migrant Workers Integration In Community Intervened By Social Work

The social work intervening in the community integration of migrant workers through the form of projects is a new attempt of the reform of government's public services.This paper,taking the integration project of S Community in Haimen City,Jiangsu Province as the analysis sample,evaluated the effectiveness of the project and explored the problems existing in the process the operation of the project and the methods and countermeasures from the perspective of social work intervention.And it has drawn the following conclusions : first,social work intervening in the community integration of migrant workers has proven effective;second,there are still some problems in the intervention of community,such as the insufficient professionalism of the intervening participant,the insufficient objective conditions of intervention,and the lack of effectiveness of the tool of intervention and so on;Third,more efforts should be made to further enhance the effectiveness of the project and accelerate the integration of migrant workers' integration in the community including the needs assessment of the project,the professionalism of social workers,the conditions of the social work intervention,evaluation on the scientific level of the project and resources integration.
