Reading is one of the important way of access to information resources,long history since ancient times,the paper as the traditional reading present carrier has been used by people,and with the rapid development of information and communication technology,not only enhance the richness and diversity,reading resources has also changed the carrier forms of reading,reading habits and reading behavior ontology,more and more people begin to choose the digital reading gradually.Computer screen reading is not only applied to individual's independent reading,but also a new mode adopted by various standardized tests.In this social context,college students were selected as subjects in this study,aiming to compare the effe cts of computer screen and paper presentation on college students' reading effect and strategy use.In the first experiment,a 2*2 hybrid design was used to discuss the influence of computer screen and paper on students' immersive experience.Meanwhile,the influence of the difficulty of reading materials on students' immersive experience was also analyzed.The research conclusions are as follows: there is no significant difference between the difficulty of materials and the immersion experience of computer screen reading,while there is a significant difference between the difficulty of materials and the immersion experience of paper reading.When reading on paper,the immersion experience is higher when using simple reading materials.Experiment 2 emphatically probes into the present computer screen and paper carrier influence on college students' reading strategy use,the results show that present computer screen and paper carrier significant differences on college students' use of reading strategies,furt her studies have shown that support the use of strategies under different rendering carrier,which used in the computer screen to read retelling,back to reading strategies and the introspection of frequency is significantly higher than on paper.Therefore,the author puts forward the following Suggestions: digital reading and paper reading are both necessary;Readers can choose the reading carrier according to the content attribute of the reading materials.Readers need to develop good reading habits;The design of reading products should meet the needs of users for deep immersion reading.
