Mixed age education is to break the traditional boundaries between class and age,and arrange children of different age groups in one class to live,play and study together.In recent years,mixed age education has become a hot topic.The educational value of mixed age education has aroused a heated discussion,especially for promoting the development of children's pro-social behavior.Some scholars have proposed that mixed-age education can promote the development of children's pro-social behavior,provide children with opportunities to learn from children of other ages,and promote their cognitive and social development.But the current study methods are not scientific enough.It is mainly based on teachers' practice experience and reflection,and the content is too broad.They focus on the social development value of mixed-age education.But the study of specific behavior's value in the pro-social behavior is less.This study explores in pro-social behavior of children,mainly from three dimensions of helping others,cooperation,share.The study explores in the influence of mixed-age education on pro-social behavior.It can provide the effective suggestions for the development of children's pro-social behavior.This study selected the mixed-age class and the same age class of author's kindergarten as the object for observation records,then interview teachers and parents.The study show the characteristics of the mixed-age class and the same age class' s pro-social behavior.First of all,children's pro-social behavior of the mixed-age class and the same age class grows as the growth of the age.Second,the total number of the pro-social behavior of mixed age class is more than the same age class.Finally,helping and sharing behavior have significant differences between the mixed-age class and the same age.In the sames words,classes and age on the development of children's pro-social behavior exist interaction effect.The children's pro-social behavior development level of the mixed-age class is better than same age class.Based on the above research results,this research provide relevant advice from children,teachers and parents.We can learn form the education function of the mixed age class.The kindergarten and parents can form resultant force.We can understand the children and guide children.The children of different classes can complement each other and develop better.
