After entering puberty,middle school students' interpersonal relationship change significantly.Researches show that middle school students mainly begin to keep company with their peers rather than teachers and parents.Peer relationship is of great significance for the development of body and psychological health.Researches show that bad peer relationship will have a bad influence on students' psychological health,habits and study,and even causes violent behavior impeding the development of sound personality.Good and health peer relationship will not only improve students' schoolwork,develop confidence,reduce anxiety and increase happiness,but also enhance the development of individual's social cognition,adaptation and skills.So it is meaningful to improve middle school students' peer relationship.Expressive writing refers to the writing of personal emotions and thoughts on a certain theme within a certain amount of time.A great deal of researches on expressive writing prove the contribution of writing traumatic experience and can reduce negative emotions like anxiety.Also,writing on positive themes can significantly improve optimism and happiness,and it can also enhance self-efficacy.Although the studies about expressive writing have made some achievements,but studies focusing on middle school students are relatively few.To improve the peer relationship,on the one hand,expressive writing will provide a new way for middle school mental health,education and psychological counseling and guidance;on the other hand,it will also provide other researchers with reference to inquire into other Psychological factors intervened by expressive writing.This study first investigates the status of middle school peer relationships by comprehensive use of literature,questionnaire survey,measurement,and intervention.Then,the research uses the experimental group and control group to analysis whether peer relationship can be increased through expressive writing,and it also analysis three-month statistical date to prove whether it has a long-term effect.Finally,supplemented by case study explores factors on intervention effectThe research gets the following conclusions:(1)Sex plays an important role in middle school peer relationship,and girls keep better relationship than boys.Only child or not and grades don't show too much significance.The friendship quality survey has shown that,the degree of acceptance of others and intimate communication dimension are lower than other dimension.(2)Five days consecutive classic expressive writing and cognitive expressive writing on peer theme can significantly improve the peer relationship of middle school students.But the effect between classic expressive writing and cognitive expressive writing is not significant.(3)Cognitive expressive writing on peer theme has a significant long-term intervention effect,but classic expressive writing's long-term intention is not significant...
