Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of College Students' Participation In The Democratic Management Of Universities

The participation of college students in democratic management of colleges and universities is a trend in the reform of higher education in the world.In recent years,domestic and foreign scholars have conducted many studies on the issues related to college students 'participation in college management,and reached an agreement on the necessity and importance of college students' participation in college management.The theoretical research of foreign scholars and the management practice of colleges and universities have promoted each other,and many influential research results have been formed.However,the research of domestic scholars mainly focuses on the theoretical level,which is not of great significance to the practical guidance of university management.Therefore,this paper comprehensively uses literature research,survey research,comparative analysis and other methods to select five colleges and universities in Hebei Province for field surveys,revealing the current status of college students' participation in college management from four aspects: participation awareness,participation content,participation environment,and participation effect.Analyze the problems and reasons for college students 'participation in college management,and then propose countermeasures for college students' participation in college management from four aspects: enhancing participation awareness,clarifying the content of participation,creating a participation environment,and implementing the effect of participation.Through scientific analysis of the survey data,it is concluded that there are four problems in the participation of college students in college management.The main problems in participation cognition are: low level of understanding of participation management,but strong willingness to participate;in terms of participation content The main problems are: the frequency of participating in university management is low,the depth and breadth of the content of participation in management is not sufficient,and the level of participation is generally low;the main problems in the environment of participation are: the number of participants and opportunities are generally small;the main problem in the effect of participation is: the effectiveness of participation is poor and formal.Deeply analyzing these problems analyzes the four main reasons for the problems: the constraints of traditional management concepts;the lack of more detailed and operable rules and regulations;the lack of effective student organizations and channels of participation;the constraints of students' own ability and experience.An in-depth analysis of the problem and its attribution,this article proposes countermeasures for college students' participation in college management from four aspects: enhancing participation awareness,clarifying the content of participation,creating a participation environment,and implementing the effect of participation.The specific suggestions are: recognize the university management concept of collaborative participation of multiple management subjects,clarify the status of university students' participation in university management;define the boundaries of effective participation of students to ensure the rationality and scientificity of student participation;establish an interactive dialogue system for student participation,Implement a “top-down and bottom-up” parallel participation mechanism;create effective ways to participate and build a comprehensive network interaction platform.
