The problem of democratic education is one of the eternal theme of education. Schools arewhere the purpose of education can be realized. The class is the basic unit of school educationand the cradle of students’ growth. Whether the class management work is good or bad willdirectly affect the implementation of school education and the goal of education. The classmanagement plays an irreplaceable role in the development of education in our country, andthe democratic management of classes is the hot issue in the reform of class management. Theauthor has been working for9years, serving as headteacher. In the long-term work, I haveencountered many democratic management puzzles of classes. With loss in theory andconfusion in practice, I set out to explore the democratic management of classes. As a middleschool teacher, I have found out and study students’ cases, and seek to explore problems inpractice. Therefore, the investigation method, documentation method and other researchmethods have been adopted. I mainly study the teacher’s role in the democratic managementof the class, the existing problems and whether the student cadre system is an indispensablepart of the democratic management of classes. I also study what problems there are in thestudent cadre system and what influence the school and the society have on the democraticmanagement classes. Through the research on the above issues, in order to promote theeducational workers have better understanding and discussion on democratic class,implementation of learning to play the role of democratic management of classes of theheadteacher.
