Oral History Research On The Inheritance And Development Of Chinese-style Wrestling In Shanxi

Chinese-style wrestling is a traditional sport with national forms and one of the important carriers of Chinese culture.Shanxi folks have been engaged in wrestling for about a thousand years,but there are few records of the historical evolution of Chinese-style wrestling in Shanxi Province,especially the deeper history,culture and public life of the wrestling.In order to promote its better inheritance and development,it is necessary to deeply analyze the history,culture,inheritance and development status of Chinese-style wrestling in Shanxi,which based on the actual situation in Shanxi.This paper takes the inheritance and development of Chinese-style wrestling in Shanxi as the research object,and the older generation of Chinese-style wrestlers and the main witnesses as respondents.It adopts research methods such as literature,oral history,field investigation,and logical analysis and collects more comprehensive oral data about respondents by some modern scientific and technological means,such as video,audio and transcripts,then gives a logic analysis using historical related theories.It sought to find the origin of Chinese-style wrestling in Shanxi,and clarified its inheritance and development.On this basis,it will reshape the inheritance system of Chinese-style wrestling,finally find the ways of developing the wrestling,and reveal the cultural connotation behind the wrestling.The research shows that,(1)Chinese-style wrestling has a historical basis in Shanxi.Its origin in Shanxi may date back to the Northern Wei Dynasty(386-534),about more than 1500 years ago.As the dynasties change,the Chinese-style Wrestling develops continually.After 1949,this wrestling sports with Chinese characteristics was officially named after Chinese-style Wrestling by State Physical Culture and Sports Commission.Then,the inheritance of Chinese wrestling has been at a low ebb in two times in Shanxi,but it did not interrupt in the fork.(2)Chinese-style wrestling has a cultural background in Shanxi.It takes itself as a carrier,and integrates the family heritage culture and temple fair heritage culture to continue to inherit and develop.(3)Chinese-style wrestling has a technical basis for its inheritance and development in Shanxi.Its technical system has a solid foundation,and the difficult actions and unique skills are self-contained.Leg-holding technology has formed Shanxi characteristics.(4)Heritance of Chinese-style wrestling has already become a system in Shanxi.Its inheritance system includes historical and cultural systems,technical systems and communication systems.In the inheritance of Chinese-style wrestling in Shanxi,the ancient temple fair in Shanxi was the cultural background of Chinese-style wrestling,the folk inheritance and family heritage were the main inheritance methods,and the Chinese-style wrestling technology with Shanxi characteristics was the carrier.And in this process,rules were formulated including names,clothing,competitions,winning rewards,etc.and the inheritance and development of Chinese-style wrestling were regulated in Shanxi.(5)The development of Chinese-style wrestling in Shanxi is the efforts of the older generation of wrestlers.Its development benefits from long-established and technically well-established wrestling foundation in Shanxi,from the old-fashioned wrestling family,represented by the national intangible cultural heritage heir Cui Fuhai and the provincial intangible cultural heritage heir Zhu Fushan,and their technical integration of Naoyang wrestling to Chinese-style wrestling,and from the front-line wrestling sports workers' support.For the problems in the development of Chinese-style wrestling in Shanxi,there are five suggestions,as follows:(1)Continue to seek the personnel who experienced the development of Chinese-style wrestling,and complete the Chinese-style wrestling sports history.(2)Deeply study Shanxi,the cradle of Chinese-style Wrestling,andintegrate the representative historical and cultural resources and social forces of 11 prefecture-level cities in Shanxi,and taking a lead to promote development.(3)To formulate talent growth plan,improve Chinese-style wrestling selection mechanism and communication plan is the driving force of the continuous Chinese-style wrestling talents and the technology of a high quality(4)On the basis of inheriting the Chinese-style wrestling inheritance system,we will continue to improve and innovate.(5)By the top-level design and development plan,the Chinese-style wrestling events will be promoted to enter national and even world-class high-level events,and it sound development in Shanxi will be facilitated.
