In the current rapid development of the information age environment,there is a widely adopted view that teaching and learning in traditional education is facing great challenges,in this trend,in order to adapt to the development of information education,students' learning methods and learning characteristics must also keep pace with the times.This also reflects one of the ultimate goals of China's educational information: the future citizens can adapt to the development of the information age,and the important indicator stoicism to measure whether future citizens can cope with the development of the information age is information literacy.Information literacy of junior high school students in a city is restricted and influenced by factors such as geographical location and economic development level,what is its level and development status?Through literature analysis,this study combs and summarizes the relevant research on the evaluation of information literacy and the definition of the connotation of information literacy,draws on the previous research results,and uses shi Yinghui's "Information Literacy Evaluation Index System for Primary and Secondary School Students" as the evaluation criteria,combined with the "Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Primary and Secondary Schools".The requirements and objectives put forward formed the "Middle School Students Information Literacy Assessment Questionnaire",and as a research tool,to a city of 18 junior high school 1451 junior high school students as research objects,through the online network survey platform "questionnaire star" to a city junior high school students information literacy status survey,the use of SPSS 21 and EXCEL software to obtain the data statistical analysis,aimed at exploring the information literacy status of a city junior high school students,as well as their own background,information literacy education background,information technology application background under three different background factors of the difference in information literacy of junior high school students.The results show that the overall level of information literacy of junior high school students in a city is at a relatively good level,and in the various dimensions of information literacy,students show a better level in the two dimensions of information consciousness and information cognition and information science knowledge,while information application and innovation,The information ability and information consciousness contained in the two dimensions of information morality and law need to be strengthened.And there are different differences in the information literacy of junior high school students with different background factors: there are significant differences in gender,grade,academic level and other background factors.There are significant differences in the background factors of information literacy education such as information literacy when information technology starts and information development in primary school and junior high school.In terms of the background factors of information technology application,the different duration of weekly use of computer,mobile phone and other equipment leads to significant differences in the level of information literacy of junior high school students;The level of information literacy of junior high school students who participated in related competitions in the dimension of information consciousness and information cognition was significantly higher than that of junior high school students who had not participated.Based on the conclusions of statistical analysis in the study,this study puts forward some suggestions and measures from the three points of view of school,family and education authorities,with a view to providing reference for cultivating and improving the information literacy of junior high school students in a city and improving the information literacy education of junior high school students in a city.
