Along with the speeding up of education informatization and the implementation of the basic educationcurriculum reform, it will put forward a series of new requirements to teachers and specialization, while theinformation literacy is the inevitable requirement of modern education to teachers. As a communicatorordinary citizen and a scientific knowledge of the information society-teacher, should be further updateconcepts、methods and modes of education, and improve their information literacy,Only in this way can weachieve the function of information technology in education teaching.However, Kashgar, is located in China’s westernmost,a remote location, Although it carried out theinformation many years, teacher training in information technology had become more and more deep-going,but the research on information literacy the Han Chinese teachers in junior high School in Kashgar City isalmost blank.This paper is on the basis of the survey of junior high school chinese teacher information literacydeparture, it mainly adopts literature analysis and questionnaire, Choosing76Chinese in-service teachers inthe junior high School of Kashi city as the research object,then conducts an in-depth research. Based on therelevant theory and practice of teacher’s information literacy at home and abroad research achievements, in thefoundation of the Kashgar city junior high school Chinese teacher information accomplishment presentsituation,then this paper analysis the results of the survey from the language teacher’s informationconsciousness, information knowledge, information ability and information morality, information security fiveaspects,and summarizes the existing problems, discusses the present situation of information literacy, and tryto propose information literacy strategies from the teachers level, school level and the department in charge ofeducation level,such as enhancing the information technology and curriculum integration of consciousness,enhancing information technology software and hardware facilities, strengthen teachers’ informationtechnology school-based training management and security and other relevant information literacy strategies.The author attempts to achieve the purpose by this research, the purpose for providing theoretical supportand practical basis for the training of junior high school the Han Chinese teachers Information Literacy inKashgar City and constantly improve the quality of language teaching, and promoting further enhanceinformation literacy of the Han Chinese teachers in the junior high school in Kashgar City. This research putsforward many suggestions, not only in practice has important practical significance, but also has a certain helpof research on the junior high school chinese teacher professional development of the informatization, we hopeto get some attentions of the Han Chinese teachers and related educational institutions.
