"Shadow education" is also referred to as "private tutoring" or "supplementary education",referring to the tutoring of academic subjects,provided by tutors for financial gain,as a supplement to mainstream school education.This study explores shadow education from the perspective of shadow education tutors,deeply explores and analyzes the professional identity construction of shadow education tutors,understands how the professional identity construction of shadow education tutors,and provides suggestions for standardizing the education and teaching work of tutors.This study is divided into five parts.First of all,the first chapter describes the background of the research,clear research issues and significance.The second chapter,based on literature research,defines the concepts of shadow education,shadow education tutors and teacher identity,sorts out the researches on shadow education tutors and teacher identity at home and abroad,and finally summarizes and reflects on the existing researches from the aspects of research objects,contents,methods and results.The third chapter introduces the theoretical basis and method design of the research,shows the recruitment process of the interviewed tutors and the basic information of the tutors,and introduces the ethics and reliability of the research.The fourth chapter analyzes the relationship between identity and multiple identities of the eight tutors and their influencing factors one by one.The fifth chapter comprehensively analyzes the multiple identities of shadow education tutors' identity,and discusses the overlapping and conflict of identity according to the different states of tutors' identity coordination and imbalance,and further finds the influencing factors of different identity relations.In chapter six,the conclusion summarizes the main findings of the research,proposes suggestions on the current policies of shadoweducation based on the findings and conclusions,and reflects on the shortcomings of the research.
