The primary school students' ability to ask questions is regarded as the first element of scientific inquiry,the core competence of scientific inquiry activities,and the essential quality of cultivating innovative talents.In view of its important role in science curriculum,many countries have written "ask questions" into science curriculum standards and tried to integrate into science classroom teaching.But at present,most of the first-line science teachers in our country can't deeply realize the essential meaning and great significance of the ability to "raise scientific questions ",and they have never been trained in the actual education and teaching process strategy and uniform standards.Therefore,it is of great significance for the scientific education work to deepen the educators' awareness of the ability to raise scientific problems for primary school students.The teaching of cultivating pupils' ability to raise scientific questions can not be separated from understanding and grasping the present situation of their ability to ask questions.As the basis and premise of improving this ability,we must investigate the present situation of pupils' ability to raise scientific questions in our country and grasp the basic reality.This research through combing the relevant literature materials at home and abroad,combined with the goal of the school section of "compulsory education primary school science curriculum standard ",determined the research problems and investigation ideas,designed a reasonable and effective " put forward scientific problems " ability test questions,developed the evaluation framework of pupils " put forward scientific problems " ability,from the problem type,expression,thinking level three dimensions,from the fifth to sixth grade a total of more than 500 pupils " put forward scientificproblems " ability.After data collection and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn on the present situation of pupils' ability to "raise scientific questions " :1.Most pupils lack the ability to ask questions and do not want to take the initiative to ask questions;2.Pupils raise questions in a variety of ways,but lack of relevant scientific;3.Pupils raise scientific questions in general clear expression and show their thinking development has stage characteristics.
