The Research On General Education The Common Requirement Of University(UCORE) Project Of Washington State University

General education is a kind of modern education method which cultivates social people through diversified educational means.As the carrier of general education,general education project is an important channel of innovative talent cultivation mode in colleges and universities.However,there are still many problems in general education in colleges and universities in China due to various factors.The general education "UCORE" program of Washington state university in the United States is characterized and experienced,and has achieved good results in recent years.In the process of carrying out general education in Chinese universities,we can learn from the general education experience of Washington state university and actively explore general education programs that meet the training objectives of Chinese universities according to the actual situation.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,comparative research and case study to conduct an in-depth study on the "university common requirements" project of Washington state university.From the project at the university of Washington state reform and practice of school,the first comb the requirements of "university" introduced the background of the project,the second from Washington state university education concept,learning objectives,general plan curriculum system,students' learning achievement evaluation four aspects discusses the requirements of "university" the main content of the project,and then from the institutional management,curriculum building and evaluating the three sides facing the project implementation present situation has carried on the system analysis.Then it analyzes in detail the unique features of the "common requirements of universities" project,that is,the project takes the clear and clear "seven learning objectives" as the core,and runs through the whole link of general education,so as to promote the formation of joint forces among university resources,implement the concept of general education layer by layer and ensure the smooth progress of the project.Finally,combining with the problems existing in the implementation of general education programs in Chinese colleges and universities,this paper puts forward some Suggestions for the reform of general education programs in Chinese colleges and universities,hoping to provide some reference for the theoretical exploration and practical reform of general education in Chinese colleges and universities.
