Research purpose: This paper used the methods of kinematics and dynamics to study and analyze the sport biomechanical characteristics of the most two basic and typical yoga-balance postures: Vrksasana and Virabhadrasana III.To make yoga practicing more anatomically and kinematically implementable, discover the differences between different levels of practicers in performing these two yoga postures, help yoga beginners find their shortcomings and parts which need to be strengthened. It also provides both the technical guidance for personalized asanas practice in yoga and the scientific basis for promoting healthy development of yoga exercise. Methods: This study selected 16 female participants as the experimental objects who are not engaged in any sports but practicing yoga asanas regularly. We used Tecnobody to test their dynamic and static balance ability and proprioception. We used ISOMED2000 to test and analyze the features of isokinetic muscle strength for knee joints of lower limbs. We used the normal-speed camera to collect the yoga practicers Vrksasana and Virabhadrasana III movement process and APAS system to analyze the kinematic characteristics of the movement process.Research result:1.The static balance ability, dynamic balance ability and proprioception synthesis of the two groups of practicers had significant difference. The shift of center of gravity of senior yoga practicers was more stable in the changed process of Vrksasana and Virabhadrasana III,and the shift of center of gravity of yoga beginners was obvious.2.Compared the muscle strength of the lower limbs between the two groups of practicers, there was a significant difference in flexor,no difference in extensor.3.During the entry stage of Vrksasana and Virabhadrasana III,there were significant differences in the hip, knee, and ankle joints' movement angles between the senior yoga practicers and beginners.Analysis conclusion:1.Long-term yoga practice had an overall improvement in balance ability, the senior yoga practicers were better than beginners and had more powerful ability of body control.2.The muscle capacity and activity of senior yoga practicers were better than those of yoga beginners. The practice of yoga asanas will enhance the strength of flexor. The left and right flexor and extensor strength of the knee joints in two groups of practicers is equivalent. Two groups ofpracticers would focus on the balance exercise on the left and right sides during the daily asana exercise.3.During the process of asanas transformation, the swing range and stability of the practicer's body can be used to evaluate the finishing quality of the asanas.During the conversion process of the Virabhadrasana III,beginners improve the quality of movements by reducing pelvis rotation during practice, and properly flex the knee joint to maintain the stability of the body and ensure the accomplish of asanas is standard enough.
