Objective: Executive function is an important part of brain cognitive function,which provides an important guarantee for human life,learning and other aspects.However,many researchers have found that many mental disorders in university students are closely related to brain executive function.There is evidence that aerobic exercise can promote the development of executive function of brain,thus maintaining and improving the cognitive level of brain.However,the current research on exercise and brain cognition is not rich and comprehensive,which needs further discussion.In this study,we use the event-related potentials of EEG technology to investigate the effects of aerobic exercise with different intensity combinations on university students' executive function,preliminarily explore the effects of exercise on university students' brain cognition under the condition of intensity switch,and discuss the effects of aerobic exercise with different intensity combinations on university students' physiological health indicators,hoping to provide objective evidence for university students to explore more scientific exercise methods and promote their physical and mental health development.Methods: Ten university students met the inclusion criteria and participated in the experiment.The sex ratio was 1:1.Each subject received three aerobic exercise interventions in succession,the interval between times shall be at least 72 hours.Before and after each aerobic exercise interventions,the physiological indexes of the subjects were monitored by Masimo radical 7 set finger clip pulse oximeter.Before and after each aerobic exercise,the subjects completed inhibition task(flanker task),refresh task(2-back task)and switch task(more-odd shifting task).At the same time,the subjects completed related cognitive tasks and the latency and amplitude data of ERPs P300 were collected by neuroscan64 guided brain electrographic recording system.Combined with physiological,psychological and EEG data to evaluate the effects of different intensity combinations of aerobic exercise on the functions of inhibition,refresh and switch of university students' brain,as well as the effects on mental processing and brain activation level.Results: Physiological health indicators showed that aerobic exercise with different intensity combinations significantly increased the heart rate and RPE value of university students' subjects,and reduced the total mood disturbance index,while the change of blood perfusion index was not significant.Aerobic exercise with light plus moderate intensity reduced the level of blood oxygen saturation of subjects,while aerobic exercise with light plus moderate and moderate plus vigorous intensity failed to significantly change the blood oxygen saturation of university students.In the behavioral results,response time of the subjects to complete the flanker task and the more-odd shifting task after exercising was significantly improved by the aerobic exercise with light plus moderate and moderate plus vigorous intensity;,the response time of the subjects to complete the 2-back task after exercising was significantly shortened by the three forms of aerobic exercise compared with that before exercise while the three intensities of aerobic exercise did not significantly change the accuracy of task completion.The P300 data of ERP showed that only light plus vigorous intensity aerobic exercise shortened the P300 latency of subjects when they completed the flanker task after exercising;light plus moderate intensity aerobic exercise significantly increased the P300 amplitude of subjects when they completed the more-odd shifting task after exercising.Conclusion: The aerobic exercise is helpful to maintain the physiological health of the subjects;the aerobic exercise of light plus moderate and moderate plus vigorous intensity has a positive effect on the brain inhibition function and switch function of the university students;three kinds of intensity aerobic exercise can promote the development of subjects' brain refresh function;aerobic exercise of light plus moderate intensity and light plus vigorous intensity has a positive effect on brain activation of switch and inhibition function when university students completed cognitive tasks.
