Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Beijing Public Participation In Curling Under The Background Of 2022 Winter Olympic Games

In the context of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games,in order to respond to the call to "bring 300 million people to participate in ice and snow sports" and actively popularize ice and snow sports,the Beijing Municipal Government has taken curling as a key project.The curling sports for common people in Beijing was carried out relatively late.Thus,In order to popularize the mass curling movement and reserve talents for the Winter Olympic Games,this paper selects the project of mass participation in curling sports in Beijing as the research object,and investigates the present situation of mass participation in curling movement in Beijing through literature,investigation,mathematical statistics,field investigation and so on.By analyzing the influencing factors of mass participation in curling sports in Beijing and integrating the enlightenment of mass curling in foreign countries,this paper puts forward some reasonable countermeasures and suggestions for mass participation in curling in Beijing.The following conclusions are drawn:1.The 2022 winter Olympic Games will promote the participation of the public in curling in Beijing.The number of policies of ice and snow sports,venues and events in Beijing has been significantly increased and the public in Beijing has a strong willingness to participate in curling sports.2.The participants in the popular curling movement in Beijing have equal gender,large age span with a youth majority.The people who play curling are mostly highly educated and are mostly from the state organs,party organizations,enterprises,institutions and schools.The disposable monthly incomes of the participants who take part in the mass traditional curling are between 10001 and 30000 yuan,while the disposable monthly incomes of the participants who take part in the land curling are between 500 and 10000 yuan.Compared with the average income level in Beijing,the participants in the mass traditional curling movement belong to the high-income group.3.The organization form of mass participation in curling in Beijing is mainly groups,and the frequency of participation in curling is low.The number of people who participate in traditional curling 1-2 times a year ranks the first,but the number of people who take part in land curling 8-15 times a year ranks the highest.4.The cognitive channels of mass participation in curling movement in Beijing are mainly network,television,teaching and training,and the main purpose of participation is to strengthen physique,promote health,fulfill curiosity,entertain and so on.5.The major problems in curling movement in Beijing are as follow.First of all,although there are many government policies on ice and snow sports,there are few policies for the public to participate in the curling movement,and the government invests less money in the public to participate in the curling movement,resulting in a small number of venues for the public to participate in the curling movement and high consumption.Secondly,the curling association organizations urgently need to solve the shortage of curling referees,coaches and experts for making ice.The market urgently needs to solve the issue that the land curling venue equipment is not unified,the service around the curling site can be improved,and finally,the promotion system is not perfect,and the public has little knowledge of curling.The solution to these problems can lead the public to participate in the curling movement.6.The countermeasures to encourage more people to participate in curling in Beijing include increasing government policies and financial support,and strengthening the policy implementation of relevant departments of curling,which is conducive to increasing curling venues,reducing consumption,and providing more opportunities for the public to participate in curling.Secondly,increasing the number of referees,coaches,ice makers and other professionals,so that the public can get professional training to improve their affection of curling.In the process of increasing infrastructure construction,attention should be paid to improve construction standards,optimize curling market equipment.Promoting the development of curling by organizing training,increasing media publicity and holding competitions,so that the public can understand and participate in curling better.
