This paper using the data of The Student Experience in the Research University(SERU)for 9006 undergraduates from H university in 2015,this students compare in analyzing and critical thinking skills, quantitative ability, appreciation of college disciplines' understanding ability, satisfaction and sense of belonging of students, and explore the net effect of disciplines on the above learning outcome,as well as the differences and similarities of the factors affecting the learning outcome of different disciplines. It is found that undergraduates in humanities and social sciences have more value-added than the natural sciences in analyzing and critical thinking skills and professional abilities.Law,architecture, and literature have a significant negative impact on the value added of quantitative capabilities. The humanities are the most satisfied, and the social sciences and natural sciences are quite satisfied.Engineering has the highest score on belonging, and architecture has the lowest score on sense of belonging.Further regression analysis found that when engineering is used as a reference, jurisprudence adds value to analyzing and critical thinking, and economics has a significant positive impact on the appreciation of professional competence.Law,architecture, and literature add value to quantitative capabilities, and economics and science are more satisfied with college life.management, architecture, economics, and literature have a significant negative impact on sense of belonging.Gender, grade, family economic class, academic engagement, university goals, and college atmosphere all have significant effects on learning outcomes, while parental education background and educational quality have no significant effect on learning outcomes. The comparison of the regression coefficients of the factors influencing the learning outcomes of different disciplines show that the influence of academic engagement and university goals on the learning outcomes presents disciplinary differences, while the characteristics admission, their perception of education quality, and the influence of institutional atmosphere on the learning outcome of students in different disciplines are General. The learning outcome of engineering students is significantly affected by the academic engagement, and than students of other disciplines. The general trend of the influence of input variables on learning outcomes is that male,seniors,low-income groups, and low-parent education level can lead to more positive learning outcomes.students' perception of Education quality has little effect on the effectiveness of subject learning. The influence of the institutional atmosphere on the learning outcomes of all disciplines is positive. The above findings indicate that:disciplinary differences of disciplinary assessment and student learning effectiveness assessment should be considered;improve the academic engagement of each discipline and maintain the culture of the discipline;help students to clarify the university life goals;create good campus culture atmosphere;pay attention to special student group and period of student learning.
