As one of forms of art activities,the importance of painting in the field of art is evident.Children can not only get happy experience from it,but also can fully express themselves.It is of great significance to give a profound analysis of children's painting works and have a grasp of children's painting language to understand children's thoughts and feelings.Themed“my happiest thing”,taking 300 paintings of 300 children aged 4-6 years as an example,adopting works analysis,and interview methods,this thesis delves into performance characteristics of positive emotion in paintings of children aged 4-6 years.According to findings,development of performance characteristics of positive emotion in painting of children aged 4-6 years is comparatively obvious.In terms of content expression of paintings,there exists a prominent relationship between age and character arrangement,situation selection and emotion marker use in works.There exists no obvious difference between gender and character arrangement,situation selection and emotion marker use in works.Specifically,with regard to character relationships,with selection of the relationship between my companions and me as well as my relatives and me,children express their happy emotions.The older the children are,the more obviously they tend to express their happy emotions through these two kinds of relationships.Concerning situation selection,generally speaking,with the growth of age,the proportion of life situation and game situation in paintings tends to decrease,while that of learning situation increases slightly.However,game situation is the main selection in paintings of children aged 4-6 years,accounting for more than 80%.Regarding emotion marker use,the physical marker is the main selection of children aged 4 years to express their happy emotions,while the content marker is the main selection of children aged 5 and 6 years.In terms of form expression of paintings,there is a remarkable relationship between age and composition arrangement,color selection and model use in works,while there is only a notable relationship between gender and model use.As children grow older,they share more and more joyful emotions,and the number of characters in paintings increases.With respect to image arrangement,4-year-old children tend to adopt the juxtaposition pattern of composition to convey their happy emotions,while5-year-old and 6-year-old children tend to use full construction pattern of composition.As to color types,4-year-old children mainly use warm colors such as red,orange and yellow to express their happy emotions,of which the highest frequency is red,while 5-year-old and 6-year-old children largely adopt warm-cold comparison colors,of which red-blue and red-green comparison colors rank first and second respectively.As for the number of colors,the older the children are,the richer the colors in works are.In reference to model use,with the growth of age,children will adopt more and more image decoration,movement and expression to convey their happy emotions,and girls use models more frequently than boys.In the matter of image decoration,in the expression of happy emotions,selection of using lines to decorate clothes and taking the crown as the headdress is the favorite of children aged 4-6 years.In the aspect of image movement,the frequency of movement by hand is higher than that by leg.In the respect of image expression,the frequency of expressing happy emotions through mouth model is higher than that through eye model.Finally,based on research conclusions,the thesis puts forward relevant suggestions.First,we should encourage children to interpret works by themselves,express emotions clearly,intensify the interaction between language and graphic symbols,explore morphological characteristics of paintings fully,understand the meaning expression of children's paintings,and strengthen understanding of painting languages.Second,we should select painting themes from children's life,organize diversified game activities,enrich children's emotional experience,and promote ingenious integration of children's painting creation with emotional expression.
