A Study On The Characteristics Of Background Painting In Children Aged 5-6 Years

In order to explore the painting performance characteristics of children aged 5-6 years old and reveal the painting background performance model of children aged 5-6 years old,as well as the hidden problems in the art education concept of kindergartens,teachers and parents.In this study,181 children from 6 kindergartens in Chengdu were investigated and their parents were given questionnaires on family art activities.Through the analysis of the selection,organization,coloring,modeling characteristics and influencing factors of children's painting background images of 5-6 years old,the research conclusions are as follows:(1)Among the background images painted by children aged 5-6,the image with the highest frequency is the universal image,including the sun,the sky,the clouds,the flowers,the grass,the trees,the rainbow,the earth,the house and the animals ten;Next is the typical image,including the ball,slide,climbing rack,flag,runway fifteen;Decorative image followed,including love,geometric figures,Numbers,colored dots,colored lines,balloons six;The frequency of unknown images is the lowest,including short lines,small color blocks and unrecognizable graphics.The specific images with the highest frequency are grass,sun and cloud,accounting for 54.1%,53.0% and 37.0%respectively;(2)Both universal background and typical background images have relatively common modeling characteristics,and the modeling methods of each image are about three.For example,the sun has a quarter circle anda circle,both in the upper left or right corner of the picture;(3)there are three main reasons for children aged 5-6 to choose the background image for painting.Second,he was taught to draw;Three is to see the partner to draw,oneself also want to draw.There are two main sources of modeling,one is from the children themselves,their own thinking,their own understanding of the creation;The second is from others,is the imitation,copy of others,is the main source;(4)children aged 5 to 6 have a common representation of the background,from top to bottom is the sky,sun and clouds,trees and flowers,as well as the house,grass and ground;(5)5-6 children's painting background color selection is affected by image characteristics,universal image color is the object's natural color,typical image is the child's favorite color,generally speaking are bright color,such as red,yellow,blue;(6)the characteristics of the image itself,kindergarten,teachers' concept of art education,kindergarten level,parents' education level,parents' occupation,etc.,will affect the performance of 5-6 year old children's painting background,among which kindergarten level and father's education level have the most significant influence on children's painting universal background and typical background;(7)there is a significant correlation between parents' art education concept and the performance of children's painting background image.Correct children's art education concept,as well as parents' trust and encouragement to children,can reduce the frequency of children's painting universal background and unknown background.
