In today's ever-changing business environment,enterprises need to face up competitive reality and keep adjusting business strategy in order to adapt and survive.Over time they realize the importance of cultivating and promoting innovation culture within the organization.At the same time,they also emphasize the teamwork more than ever in order improve team performance.Using a sample of professionals working in project-based corporations,we examined the effects of advice network and effects of friendship network on innovation implementation and collaborative performance,from two different measure dimensions: degree centrality and structural hole.Furthermore,we also tested the mediation role of creativity between social network characteristics(advice network degree centrality,advice network structural hole,friendship network degree centrality,friendship network structural hole)and innovation implementation,and mediation role of empathy between social network characteristics and collaborative performance.The result partially support our hypotheses: all the four social network characteristics are beneficial to innovation implementation and collaborative performance except for friendship network structural hole.We don't get a positive result as regard to mediation effect of creativity and empathy,the only exception we find is the indirect effect on empathy between friendship network structural hole and collaborative performance.
