Scientific development and technological innovation have always been the powerand driven force for the improvement and development of human society since themodern society. Universities play an increasingly significant role on the highlydevelopment of science as the places of gathering talents, generating new knowledgeand creating new ideas. More and more practical and new products and technology arebeing created by the steady knowledge stream flow from universities to researchinstitutions. While universities cooperative mode has been the foundation and drivenfactors for the circulation of knowledge, how to improve the cooperative innovationperformance of universities and institutions have been the primary concern and theurgent problem to be solved. Therefore, study the effects of university cooperativenetwork mode on innovation performance have great significance for the improvementof universities cooperative network innovation performance.Firstly, this dissertation introduces the relative theories and research methods ofinnovation performance influencing factors during the universities cooperation process.Divides the cooperation process into4different stages, and summarizes the influencingfactors according to the stages. Proposes the assessment model of the innovationperformance factors from two aspects of overall and individual perspective; Secondly, selects six universities’ collaborative networks from three regions of Beijing, Shanghai, and Nanjing as the original sample, justifies the reliability of the assessment model byempirical analysis from wholesome and individual aspects. In this section, we firstlydivide the overall perspective into enterprises’ participation and patent numbers, andthen come to the conclusion that enterprises’ participation and patents numbers wouldimprove the connection density and strength of each node in the network, the quality ofshared knowledge and technology, therefore improve the networks’ overall innovationperformance by the use of social network analysis and comparative analysis. Thendivide the individual property into industry level and participation active degree, andfinally come to the conclusion that the industry level and participation degree havesignificant influence on the innovation performance by the comprehensive use ofsocial network analysis and structural equation model; Finally, provides suggestionsfor the improvement of universities cooperative innovation performance according tothe research conclusions and the reality of university cooperation.
