With the emphasis on traditional culture in China and the fact that school is an important way of traditional culture,Taijiquan has become one of the traditional courses of physical education in colleges and universities.Due to the reform of physical education in colleges and universities,the national department of physical education clearly points out: to improve the physical health of college students.It can be seen that the reform of physical education in our country has entered the stage of tackling key problems,innovating teaching contents,practicing health management,The implementation of health promotion has become the consensus and direction of education reform.The new university physical education teaching and health curriculum has clearly put forward the study goal of "to improve students' physical and psychological social adaptability".Adapting to the trend of the times,innovating the content of traditional physical education and constantly improving the physical health of college students has become the focal point of the current physical education reform in colleges and universities.The guiding ideology of "health first" should be set up in the teaching of physical education in colleges and universities,and the reform and innovation of physical education should be promoted by enriching the contents of physical education.The theoretical research and teaching practice in recent years have shown that Taijiquan has a great effect on the physical health of college students.The project should introduce Taijiquan into physical education teaching in colleges and universities,and help college students establish lifelong physical consciousness and new healthy values through Taijiquan course,and then achieve the goal of improving the level of college students' physical health.However,there are still many problems in the teaching of Taijiquan in colleges and universities,which lead to the low quality of teaching,For example,the teaching objectives are unreasonable,the teaching contents are outdated,the teaching methods are insufficient,the evaluation system is unreasonable,the teaching materials are not unified,and the teachers' professional titles are low.In this context,colleges and universities need to combine the characteristics of students and Taijiquan to optimize the Taijiquan curriculum design.Through the optimization of Taijiquan course,college students can not only enhance their interest inlearning,promote the improvement of their physique,but also adjust themselves,understand the philosophy of Taiji,and have a new understanding of life.Therefore,the optimization design of Taijiquan course has become an urgent problem for PE teachers.Based on the investigation and research on the taijiquan courses in colleges and universities in Baoding city,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)At present,taijiquan courses have been widely carried out in colleges and universities in Baoding city,but there are still some problems such as unreasonable teaching objectives,outdated teaching contents,inadequate teaching methods,unreasonable evaluation system,inconsistent teaching materials and low professional titles of teachers.(2)The objectives of taijiquan teaching in colleges and universities in Baoding city are not obvious.Students do not know what they need to learn and what they need to master.(3)The teaching contents of taijiquan are rarely taught in colleges and universities in Baoding city with the cultural connotation and philosophical thoughts of taijiquan.(4)The teaching methods of taijiquan in colleges and universities in Baoding city cannot meet the needs of students.Few teachers design taijiquan preparation exercises and organize taijiquan teaching by combining the skills of taijiquan with the cultural connotation.(5)The evaluation system of taijiquan courses in colleges and universities of Baoding city is not very prominent for the mutual evaluation between students and between teachers and students.(6)There are many kinds of teaching materials of taijiquan in colleges and universities in Baoding,and the standards are not unified.(7)Most of the teachers and lecturers of taijiquan in colleges and universities in Baoding city have professional titles,but their professional titles are relatively low.
