Science Experimental class of China University of Petroleum(East China)is a useful attempt to deepen the reform of talent training mode,and also an important measure to meet the new requirements of national higher education personnel training.The aim is to create a group of excellent innovative talents with solid foundation,comprehensive quality,outstanding ability of innovation and great development potential and assist the University in the international first-class high level universities.In order to study the stress of students in the science experimental class,this research selected the science experiment class students of grade one(100)and grade two(100),and the ordinary science students of grade one and grade two(amount to 100),engineering students of grade one and grade two(amount to 100)as the control group.It used “Psychological Stress for College Students” made by Zhang Lin and Che Wenbo(2003)and “Coping style Questionnaire”(CSQ)made by Xiao Jihua.The study found that the psychological stress of science experimental class students was 1.68,which was a mild stress feeling level.According to the order of the stress degree from big to small,the top five is the stress of employment situation,the stress of learning task,the stress of college environment,the stress of emotion disorder and the interpersonal relationship.In a word,the overall psychological stress of students in the science class is slight,but the external stress is significantly higher.Science experimental class students in the coping styles were to solve the problem,seek help,retreat,fantasy,rationalization and self-blame.It shows that the students in the science experimental class adopt both active coping style and passive coping style when facing stress,but take active coping style as the main.In the field of difference analysis between the science experimental class and the ordinary science and engineering general classes,the interpersonal relationship stress and frustration stress of the students in the science experimental class are significantly smaller than that of the ordinary science classes,but the stress of employment situation is significantly higher than that of the ordinary science classes.There is no significant difference in the average situation of the different dimensions of coping styles among the ordinary science classes and engineering classes.Therefore,we should pay special attention to the guidance of Science experimental class students ' employment situation stress.In addition,the study also found that the factors influencing the psychological stress of the students in the science experiment class were grade,sex and identity of student leaders.In particular,the stress of learning task is most affected by grade,and the learning task stress of sophomore students is significantly heavier than that of freshman;and the psychological stress of male science experimental students is significantly higher than that of female students;the stress of learning task of student leaders in science experimental class is significantly higher than that of non-leader student in science experimental class.The factors influencing the coping style of college students in science experimental class are mainly grade and gender,in particular,sophomore students choose "retreat" coping style is significantly higher than freshman;female students choose "seek help" coping style significantly higher than male student in science experimental class.To manage and dredge the stress of the students in the science experiment class,there are as follows:improve the employment competitiveness of college students,perfect the individual professional psychology of college students,set the learning goal rationally,adjust the learning psychology in time,grasp the stress coping management,seek the social support,improve the psychological adaptability and face the life difficult problem positively,ect.
