Application problem comes from real life,it is a very important content in primary school mathematics teaching.To solve the application problem,students need to abstract the corresponding quantitative relationship from the real life,and use mathematical tools and reasonable mathematical methods to solve the problem.This process is essentially a mathematical modeling process,and contains a preliminary model thinking.However,due to the large number of application problems in primary school,students' cognitive level is limited,so a reasonable teaching method should be used to teach application problems.It is based on this kind of situation that this paper makes an in-depth exploration.This study takes the teaching method of classified modeling for upper grade mathematics application problems in primary schools as the research object,starts from the analysis of the primary school mathematics application problem teaching status,according to the relevant concepts and theoretical basis,according to different standards,the primary school mathematics application problem classification.Moreover,the paper further explores the connotation of classified modeling teaching and compares it with conventional teaching.After that,the teachers and students of three schools in Hohhot area were investigated and studied to analyze the problems existing in the practical teaching of mathematical application problems,and to provide practical teaching strategies and design relevant teaching cases,so as to improve the teaching quality of mathematical application problems in primary schools.This paper is divided into six parts,the specific content is as follows:The first part:introduction.This paper discusses the research background,research problems,research purpose and significance,related research status at home and abroad,and introduces the research ideas and methods of this paper,as well as the innovation.The second part: concept definition and theory overview.This paper analyzes the five concepts of mathematical model,mathematical modeling,model thinking,application problems in primary school mathematics,and classified teaching.Based on Gagne's theory of learning stages,Polya's theory of problem solving and Piaget's theory of cognitive development stages,this paper analyzes the essence of mathematics teaching from a theoretical perspective.The third part: analysis of teaching contents of classified modeling for upper grade mathematics application problems in primary schools.Based on the compulsory education curriculum standard,this paper analyzes the mathematics textbooks for upper grades in primary schools and classifies the application problems for upper grades in primary schools according to the four classification standards.Then,the teaching process of classified modeling was designed based on the mathematical modeling theory,and compared with the conventional teaching of application problems to highlight the advantages of classified modeling teaching.The fourth part: the investigation and analysis of the current situation of mathematics application problem teaching in senior grade primary school.Through the investigation and research of three different schools in Hohhot area,the data were sorted out and analyzed by means of test paper survey,case analysis survey and interview survey,so as to find out the problems existing in the practical teaching of application problems in primary school mathematics and explore the causes.The fifth part: teaching principles and strategies of classified modeling for upper grade mathematics application problems in primary schools.Firstly,the teaching principles based on classification modeling are analyzed.Secondly,based on the analysis of the problems found in the fourth chapter,it provides operable teaching strategies for teachers' teaching and students' learning.The sixth part: relevant teaching cases.Based on the research of classification modeling teaching in this paper,the relevant teaching cases are designed.Teaching cases can be used as teaching templates for mathematics teachers,which can not only improve the quality of classroom teaching,but also discover the problems in classroom teaching.It is hoped that teachers can apply classification modeling teaching to real classroom teaching through teaching case design.
