Classical novels are treasures of ancient Chinese culture and contain rich values.Learning classical novels not only allows students to absorb excellent classical culture,but also has important significance for cultivating students' core qualities.During the internship,the author found that students' interest in reading classical novels was low,and there were many problems in the whole book reading teaching of classical novels.For this reason,the author from the perspective of teachers and students,according to the existing problems in the investigation to put forward the corresponding solutions,"a dream of red mansions" as a case analysis.Finally,talk about their own enlightenment to the whole book reading teaching.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly defines the concepts of "the whole book" analyzes the general situation of the classical novels in the High School Chinese textbooks published by the People's Education Press and the Ministry of Education,this paper briefly introduces the reading value of the whole book of classical novels from three aspects: The teachers' teaching ability,the students' core quality and the making-up excerpts in the course.The second part mainly analyzes the questionnaire survey and interview of students and teachers.Found that students and teachers have certain problems.Then the author from the college entrance examination environment,the impact of mass culture,teachers,students,parents and other factors start to analyze the causes of the problem.The third part explores the whole book Reading Teaching Strategy from the question,the reason aspect.Teachers should improve their professional accomplishment,realize the change from "learning knowledge" to "core accomplishment",arouse students' interest from introduction,problems and forms,and attach importance to the guidance of reading process.In the process of learning classical novels,students should change their reading psychology,adopt reasonable learning methods and make use of the assistance of mass media to realize the progress of reading.The fourth part takes "a dream of red mansions" as a case study.This paper discusses the reasons why the work is a case from two aspects: the importance attached to it in Chinese textbooks.Secondly,the teaching strategies are designed from the three aspects of "front","middle" and "back" of the whole book "a dream of red mansions".Pre-reading interest stimulation,version guidance,task determination.Class committee task inspection,pre-class small class,class setting.In-depth exploration after reading,such as character image analysis,theme exploration;Such as drama arrangement,poetry appreciation and other ways to improve the quality of students.Finally,an effective evaluation mechanism is established to help students read the whole book better.In the fifth part,based on the investigation and Case Analysis,the Author Discusses The enlightenment to the whole book reading from two aspects: Teachers and students.Teacherscan read first,stimulate interest and teach methods,students can read willingly and think willingly,both of them will better finish the reading task of the whole book in the reading mechanism.
