| The Chinese Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition revised in2020)(hereinafter referred to as the New Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools)takes reading of the whole book as the curriculum content throughout the whole Chinese teaching stage of senior high schools,which is regarded as an important way to cultivate students’ core Chinese literacy,and its importance is self-evident.Cultural Poetics is a literary criticism theory that emerged in China in the 1990 s.It expands the cultural perspective of literature study,takes aesthetic activities as the center,and emphasizes the two-way expansion of language and culture.Cultural Poetics advocates putting literary works into the historical and cultural context in order to reveal the deep cultural meaning and humanistic spirit behind the language and characters.Introducing Cultural Poetics into the teaching of whole book reading can open up a new perspective of whole book reading teaching from the cultural perspective.This study attempts to guide the teaching of reading the whole book with the help of the theory of Cultural Poetics.From the perspective of Cultural Poetics,this classic work A Dream of Red Mansions is taken as the main research object and literature research and comparative research methods are used in the research process.On the basis of reading and analyzing the latest viewpoints on the study of A Dream of Red Mansions,the present situation of the whole book’s reading teaching and the application of Cultural Poetics in Chinese teaching,and combining with the requirements of the new curriculum standards of senior high schools,this paper puts forward corresponding teaching strategies and evaluation strategies for the whole book’s reading teaching of A Dream of Red Mansions.This thesis consists of four parts: First,the theory and practice of Cultural Poetics are summarized.In this part,the author first discusses the background of Cultural Poetics as a literary theory,then expounds the connotation of cultural meaning and aesthetic characteristics of literature concerned by Cultural Poetics,and finally discusses the practical strategies of Cultural Poetics.Secondly,it analyzes the appropriateness and practical significance of the application of Cultural Poetics in the reading teaching of A Dream of Red Mansions.The relevance of the theory is mainly analyzed from two aspects: conforming to the requirements of curriculum standards and the characteristics of "A Dream of RedMansions" as a "cultural novel".The practical significance of this theory is mainly discussed from two aspects,that is,it can open up the practice path of teaching and provide the teaching practice strategy of inheriting Chinese traditional culture in the reading teaching of A Dream of Red Mansions.Again,in a clear Cultural Poetics can be applied to the whole book to read A Dream of Red Mansions and has a guiding significance on the basis of the theory and practice level,in the perspective of Cultural Poetics,based on "A Dream of Red Mansions" its own characteristics and requirements of new work,put forward the accumulating of reading teaching strategy and appreciation of intensive reading teaching strategy,and a matching case design.Finally,based on the perspective of Cultural Poetics,closely following the characteristics of reading the whole book and the requirements of the new curriculum standard of senior high school,taking the word "whole" as the core,the teaching evaluation strategy to test students’ cultural literacy acquisition is put forward,and the teaching evaluation strategy part has corresponding case design. |
