Study On The Impact Of The New Chinese Basketball Association Broker Management Measures On Basketball Brokerage Activities In China

In 2016,the Chinese Basketball Association separated from the General Administration of Sports and established a league company.Yao Ming was also elected as the chairman of the Basketball Association in2017.At the same time,the Chinese Basketball Association released a new version of the " Administrative Measures for the Management of Chinese Basketball Association Brokers " in 2018,which has been ten years since the previous version.Significance of the research in this article : As a brokerage activity that has a huge impact on basketball competitions in China,it has always been in a relatively chaotic state.There are few studies on the basketball brokerage industry,and it is rare to see studies about relationship between policy and brokerage activities.The theoretical significance of this article is to hope to enrich the content of China's basketball brokerage policy research through related research.The practical significance is to provide direction and help for the development of the basketball brokerage industry in China through the research of the thesis,and to improve the current problems of poor management and chaotic competition in the industry.The research purpose of this article : This article starts from the role and impact of the policies issued by the Chinese Basketball Association on the basketball agent industry,and conducts a systematic study of the basketball industry policy and basketball agent industry in China,and concludes the characteristics of the agent,development status,industry prospects,etc.It analyzes the rationality of China's policies and the feasibility of the brokerage industry.It also puts forward the basic ideas for improving the policies of the Chinese Basketball Association and optimizing the brokerage industry;It provides a reference for improving the quality of the Chinese basketball brokers and strengthening the construction of the broker team.This article uses literature,interview,case analysis,and logic methods to study the impact of the newly released policies of the Basketball Association on basketball brokering activities,and explores the relationship between policies and brokering activities.The resultsare as follows :(1)China's professional basketball league is developed by using NBA as a template,but there are many differences in the system and operating modes,which have hindered the development of the basketball brokerage industry in China.(2)The main changes in the new policy are : adjustments to the broker's business scope,new adjustments to the qualifications for employment,strict requirements for academic qualifications,recognition of FIBA??broker certificates,cancellation of broker classifications,and increased margins.(3)The main impacts of the new policy are : promoting the development of private events,restricting the participation of some media practitioners in the brokerage business,restricting the entry of international brokers into the Chinese market,and increasing the entry requirements for basketball brokers.(4)There are still many problems with the new policy and the brokerage industry.The policy issues are incomplete reforms,inadequate implementation,inadequate training,and excessively high industry thresholds.The problems with the brokerage industry are low professional quality of employees,weak legal awareness,weak service awareness,vicious competition and other issues.(5)Conclusions reached through this study,the suggestions given in this paper are : establishing a regulatory department and purchasing third-party services;establishing industry associations and strengthening industry self-discipline;adjusting barriers to entry,introducing a company affiliation system;connecting universities,establishing Long-term training mechanism.
