The diagram method applied to the teaching of laws of physical concepts,not only can get hold of the connotation of concepts and the relationship between concepts through the connection of node concepts,but also analyze the deep logic of the various quantities in physical concepts,generalize the physical laws.Thus,it is beneficial for the study of physics.In this paper,the author mainly performs a research on the characteristics and application of diagram method in the teaching of high school physics concept law.The concept law of physics has always played a very important role in the teaching.However,it is also a weak link confronted by the students.At present,although there are a great many studies on the diagram method,the focus is paid to the physics problem solving and experimental exploration.Therefore,in consideration with the research situation,it is of theoretical and practical significance to conduct a study on the teaching of the law of concepts by using the diagram method.The diagram refers to the concept graphs and function graphs in this essay.A more comprehensive study on the application of physical images in the teaching of conceptual laws is made in this paper by adopting a variety of methods,such as the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and teaching practice method.In addition,a relatively profound study on the diagram method applied in the physics concept teaching is implemented by combining significant learning theory,double coding theory,and the representation theory of the combination of math and form and other related teaching practices.Meanwhile,the problems concerning students' cognition,understanding and application of image method in current teaching are illuminated.Some recommendations are proposed in order to improve the effective teaching of laws of physics concepts,which will provide the significance of reference for physics teachers.According to the study,it shows that the diagram method has an irreplaceable role in physics teaching.For instance,It promotes both the expression ofrepresentation of physical concepts,understanding of physical laws,variation relationship between physical quantities,and cultivation of the students' knowledge structure,divergent thinking and logical thinking.The diagram,as a scientific teaching method,will produce different effects in all aspects of physics teaching.Finally,it shall be pointed out that due to time limit,this paper does not carry out an in-depth and comprehensive study of the entire physics teaching,which needs to be followed in the future.
