Although there are many twists and turns in the decades of development,the sports reality shows have always sought breakthroughs in crisis and realized innovation in improvement.The program format and content composition of sports reality shows have changed greatly from the beginning.Based on the theory of use and satisfaction in communication science,the contact and use of media is to meet their specific needs.Sports reality shows are,after all,entertainment programs.Audiences can relieve the distress in their lives and release their mental stress by watching such programs..With the advent of the new media era,the communication channels have been further enriched.In order to meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the audience,and at the same time to adapt to the multiple communication modes of the new media era,sports reality shows are also constantly being updated.Program evaluation began in the television era and focused on the evaluation of economic benefits.Under the new media environment,previous TV viewers can obtain audiovisual programs in a multi-screen manner,and can take advantage of the characteristics of new media to publish their attitudes and opinions on the program anytime,anywhere.This means that the traditional program evaluation model based on the single platform of television,which is mainly based on the performance of ratings,has lagged behind the development of the times and urgently needs to be changed.The purpose of this article is to build a set of program evaluation models that are suitable for the new media era and comprehensively evaluate sports reality TV shows.It has certain theoretical reference value for TV program practitioners to research and develop related types of programs,thereby helping the development of sports reality shows.To promote the improvement of sports reality show models and form innovation.This research uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to define key research-related concepts through the literature data method.According to the collected data,the development process of sports reality shows is divided into budding,starting,developing,low tide,and mature.Five stages,and according to the program's key elements,the sports reality show is divided into four categories: survival challenge,competitive game,amateur draft,and star variety.According to the evaluation model of the sports reality show in the new media era established by the expert survey method,it can be seen that experts in related fields believe that in the process of comprehensive evaluation of a sports reality show,the quality of the program is still the primary consideration.For sports and The subdivided programs combined with reality shows,in addition to ensuring that the programs have the entertainment attributes of general reality shows,must also take into account the competitive attributes of sports.In addition,various indicators reflecting the economic value of the program have also been given higher weight.It can be seen that economic value is still an important criterion for measuring the value of the program,whether it is in the television era or the new media era.Compared with the existing TV program evaluation system,the evaluation model established in this article includes the social value,economic value,and program quality of the program into the first-level indicators,reflecting the care of the program's human attributes and social evaluation.In case analysis of the representative sports reality show on the market in comparison with the evaluation model established in this article,it was found that these programs have good economic value,but there are different degrees of program quality and social benefits.The problem of insufficient attention.Case analysis proves that the evaluation model established in this paper is scientific and effective.Program production units can evaluate the performance of sports reality shows in terms of economic value,program quality and social benefits based on this evaluation model combined with specific data.However,the reasons for the excellent or relatively poor performance cannot be visualized through the data.For the program production unit,after clarifying the performance of the program on all levels of indicators according to the evaluation model,it is necessary to carry out cause analysis and strategy analysis on the poor evaluation indicators in order to improve the program's influence and performance.
