Since the end of last century,Chinese college entrance examination history test began to pay attention to the examination of ability,and with the high school history curriculum emphasis on subject ability training,it is getting more and more attention.The new 2017 version of high school history curriculum standards put forward the "core quality of history discipline" for the first time,and take it as an important part of the curriculum standard.Since literacy is difficult to observe and measure,it needs to be expressed through ability.Therefore,the essence of “core accomplishment of history discipline” is to emphasize the ability of history subject,and subject ability examination is still an important part of the new round of college entrance examination reform.Against this backdrop,as one of the most widely used college entrance tests in the United States,the SAT has been recognized by many American colleges and universities since its establishment in 1926.The SAT-?(subject test)test which is part of the SAT,is administered on ability,examines students knowledge and skills in the field of specific subject,and also is the important basis for students to prove their professional level,predict their academic ability,and classify their courses.This paper mainly applies the classification theory of educational goals in bloom's cognitive field,and on the basis of clarifying the basic concepts and clarifying the relevant theories,it first compares the ability requirements of Chinese and American historical subjects,and then draws the similarities and differences.Then,by analyzing the national college entrance examination history test paper and American SAT history test paper in recent years,the paper finds out the similarities and differences between Chinese and American history test paper in subject ability examination,and analyzes the reasons for these similarities and differences.Finally,based on the analysis of similarities and differences,the paper explores the Enlightenment of its implication.The results show that as one of the most influential tests in the world,SAT provides us with a lot to learn from and think about.On the exam topic,we can expand the coverage of knowledge examination,strengthen the link between competency testing and course content,and examine subject ability scientifically.In history teaching,we can study the ability requirements of the subject curriculum standards and college entranceexamination,emphasize the mastery and accumulation of basic knowledge,use the first-hand and lifelike historical data scientifically,highlight the causal teaching method,make it step by step and hierarchy in the develop of ability.
