Chinese has always been the most concerned subject in the college entrance examination,whether in the mainland China,Hong Kong or Taiwan.Experts are trying to explore a suitable way to evaluate Chinese proficiency.In recent years,the reform of the college entrance examination in many places has made the change,and the importance of Chinese examination papers has become more obvious.The era of “big Chinese” in education in China began to follow in 2013 when the Beijing Municipal Education Commission widely solicited opinions from the society to improve the score of the Chinese subject in college entrance examination.Since the start of 2017,the first year of the new college entrance examination,the mainland college entrance examination in Chinese has paid more and more attention to the core literacy of this subject.The implementation of the new curriculum in high school in Hong Kong began in 2009,and the change led to the emergence of the Hong Kong Diploma Examination(HKDSE).The first HKDSE began in 2012,in which Chinese as one of the four core subjects played an important role in the examination.And Taiwan has fully implemented the multiple college entrance examination project since 2002,and Chinese subject has always attached great importance to the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture.Before this study,most of the literature was a comparative study of the college entrance examination papers between the mainland and Hong Kong,or between the mainland and Taiwan,and the age is relatively long.There are few comparative studies on the Chinese college entrance examination papers in the mainland,Hong Kong and Taiwan in recent years.This study is based on the background of the college entrance examination among the mainland,Hong Kong and Taiwan,and takes mainland China college entrance examination(I),Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education and Taiwan General Scholastic Ability Test in Chinese subject from 2012 to 2017 as the research object.This study mainly uses text analysis and comparative analysis.Based on the structure and content of the papers among the three places in the 6 years,the author combs,analyzes and then makes a comparative study of similarities and differences,and finds out the characteristics of the three places' college entrance examination papers and what can be used for reference from each other.The main results of this paper are as follows: firstly,the Chinese examination papers reflect different purposes of Chinese education;secondly,the examination of “Chinese literacy” in different palaces has its own emphasis;thirdly,the reading materials reflect the relationship with real life in a various degree;fourthly,the structure and types of the papers are flexible and diverse.On this basis,five main conclusions are obtained: the first,the guiding function ofcurriculum standards or documents is prominent;the second,the examination papers fully take into account the influence of “one outline and more books”;the third,the examination of Chinese ability reflects different forms of exploration;the fourth,the arrangement of the key points of reading ability examination is different;the fifth,the compilation of college entrance examination papers in the three places is in the process of constant adjustment and change.Based on these conclusions,this paper puts forward four suggestions: firstly,to further strengthen the examination of traditional culture;secondly,to strengthen the relationship between Chinese examination papers and the present society;thirdly,to increase appreciation,express application and inquiry ability problems of in papers;fourthly,to enhance the selectivity and freedom of writing.
