"Safety is more important than Mount Tai","Safety and teaching are equal to each other","Risk prevention,security,stability promotion and celebration" are slogans and requirements under the above rate.College students' safety management has always been the top priority in school administration,and it is also a prerequisite for the development of all kinds of work.At home and abroad,corresponding achievements have been made in student safety management.Western universities mainly improve the quality of safety management from the perspective of system construction and management mechanism.In addition to paying attention to the construction of safety system,universities in China mainly strengthen management from two aspects: safety education and safety practice.However,in recent years,campus security incidents occur frequently,and the security situation on campus is extremely severe.How to strengthen student safety management and strangle student safety incidents in the cradle has become the focus of government and society.There are more than 50 colleges and universities in Chongqing.Combining with the relevant policies of Chongqing,colleges and universities have formed a safety management mode suitable for their own schools,which guarantees the normal order of teaching and scientific research.The author chooses W University in the western region of Chongqing as the research object.The school was founded early and jointly operated by many campuses.The scale of teachers and students is more than 20,000.It has a certain popularity and representativeness in the region.Through literature research,questionnaires and case studies,this paper collects data on the current situation of student safety management in W University,recognizes the current situation and existing problems of student safety management in W University,and puts forward countermeasures for the problems arising from the survey.The article consists of six parts: introduction,definition of concept and related theory,analysis of current situation and problems of student safety management in W University,countermeasures and conclusion.The introduction states the theoretical significance and practical value of the topic,the research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,as well as the key and difficult points of the research.The core concepts and related theories are mainly defined through safety management,college students' safety management and college students' safety consciousness.At the same time,it expounds the theoretical basis of the paper,including public crisis management theory,public safety management theory,social control theory,public goods theory and so on.In the part of current situation analysis of W University,it mainly discusses that the school has achieved certain results in student safety management: it has established an effective student safety management system,a sound safety management organizational system,and the overall mechanism works well.In recent years,students' safety can be guaranteed to a certain extent.However,there are still some problems in the work of student safety management in W University.Through the data analysis of questionnaires and interviews,it is found that: in the administrative management,the responsibility and authority of the main body of safety management are vague;in the student level,the students' awareness of safety prevention is weak;in the management mode,there is a lack of innovation.The main reason for the above problems is that there are many leaders in the safety management of students in W University.Students' safety education is mainly indoctrinated and lacks interaction.Modern safety management technology has not been introduced into campus safety management.Through theoretical analysis,practical investigation and reference materials,the author puts forward three improvement measures for the safety management problems existing in W University: one is to improve the safety management organization system and enhance the efficiency of safety and stability work;the other is to improve the safety education mode and enhance the sense of interaction;and the third is to innovate the safety management of students.Mode,improve hardware facilities.The work of student safety management in W University has its particularity and generality.The particularity lies in its geographical location and the current internal management system.Under the existing circumstances,the school has formed a safety management mechanism adapted to local conditions,which has achieved good results to a certain extent.In carrying out the safety management work,the university constructs according to the safety management standards of students in Chongqing University,grasps the general law of safety management,and combines its own characteristics to promote the safety management work of students.With the progress of technology and new requirements,W University should keep pace with the new era,reform and innovation,and improve the level of student safety management.
