In recent years,as an important part of China's tertiary industry,tourism industry has become a new growth point of national economy with the continuous expansion of industrial scale and the improvement of product system.With the overall and rapid development of tourism,the demand for professional talents in tourism related industries is also increasingly urgent.The major of tourism service and management in secondary vocational school is responsible for training the first-line technical service-oriented talents for the tourism industry.It is of great significance to reform the teaching methods and means,improve the practical ability and comprehensive quality of students,and cultivate the tourism industry talents who meet the needs of the development of the new era.The application of situational teaching mode in the teaching of tourism service and management major in secondary vocational school can stimulate students' interest in learning,improve students' skill level,promote the smooth realization of teaching objectives,and provide reference for the reform of situational teaching mode in other majors.This paper uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview method,experimental method and other methods to carry out research.Taking the course of "Tour Guide Simulation" as an example,with the help of Constructivism,Action Orientation,Situational Cognition,Experiential Learning and other teaching theories.This paper studies the application of situational teaching model in the teaching of tourism service and management major in secondary vocational school in theory and practice conclusion,some suggestions on the application and promotion of situational simulation teaching model are put forward.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.This paper expounds the background and significance of this research,summarizes and comments on the literature research of situational teaching model at home and abroad,determines the research objectives and contents of this research,and points out the research ideas and methods.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of situational simulation teaching model.This paper explains the concept and characteristics of situational teaching model,and interprets the relevant theories of situational teaching model.The third chapter is the necessity of the application of situational teaching model in the course of tour guide simulation.Through the investigation of the current teaching situation of the tour guide simulation course in secondary vocational school,the author draws the conclusion,summarizes and analyzes the problems existing in the current simulated tour guide course,and puts forward the advantages of the application of the situational teaching model in the tour guide simulation teaching.The fourth chapter is the application experiment of situational teaching model in the course of tour guide simulation.By assuming the experimental goal,designing and implementing the teaching experiment,the experimental results are statistically analyzed.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestion.This paper summarizes the conclusions of this study,and puts forward suggestions on the application of situational teaching model in tourism service and management teaching.
