Research On The Impact Of Intelligent Manufacturing On Labor Demand

Intelligent manufacturing is the application of artificial intelligence,big data and other information technologies in manufacturing.The ways and results of the impact of intelligent manufacturing on labor demand are hot topics of current research.It is necessary to use qualitative analysis to explore the internal mechanism of intelligent manufacturing affecting labor demand,and use empirical analysis to study the path and results of intelligent manufacturing affecting labor demand.The qualitative analysis is based on Marxist political economy,Joseph Alois Schumpeter's innovative essence and form theory,and Daron Acemoglu's production function model based on content changes.It starts from the entire process of labor reproduction and focuses on the process of production,distribution,exchange and consumption.These four processes and the four main places of factory,market,home,and school are used as a framework to analyze the root cause,performance,requirements and extension of the impact of intelligent manufacturing on labor demand.The root cause of the impact of smart manufacturing on labor demand is that smart manufacturing has changed the production mode,which is specifically reflected in the change in the number and structure of employment in the labor market.It will inevitably require the transformation of the traditional education model to an intelligent education model.Changes in household consumption are an extension of the impact of smart manufacturing on labor demand.The empirical analysis uses production function model based on content change to decompose labor demand change into production effect,substitution effect,combination effect and production content change effect.Intelligent manufacturing mainly affects labor demand through production content change effect.The regression analysis of the effect of changes in intelligent manufacturing and production content effect shows that: the industry of intelligent manufacturing information hardware equipment is becoming more and more perfect,and the replacement of labor force is greater than the demand for new labor force created by the industry of hardware equipment,while the demand for new labor force created by the industry of intelligent manufacturing information software and the industry of intelligent manufacturing automation machinery equipment is greater than the replacement of labor force.On the whole,the production content effect increases gradually,and the level of intelligent manufacturing is positively related to the change of production content effect,which will promote the increase of total labor demand.The development of intelligent manufacturing should not only focus on the production process,but also consider the exchange,distribution and consumption processes.To develop smart manufacturing,we must encourage high-tech industries at the production level and vigorously develop smart manufacturing;improve the labor and employment market at the exchange and consumption levels,and optimize the wage distribution system;promote education upgrading and transformation at the consumer level,and improve household consumption levels.
