Chinese traditional academies are unique educational and teaching institutions and academic research sites,and their research value is self-evident.Traditional academy education contains rich educational wisdom and excellent educational ideas,and ritual education is its outstanding representative.Academy ceremony education produced in specific historical environment: on the one hand,the traditional concept of social etiquette to song dynasty presents a downward trend,educators through ritual education activities,the education idea and education thought deeply rooted in the folk society,promote the general public,cultivate one's morality raises a gender,in order to promote zero of the maintenance of the ethics and the country's social stability,it is the call of The Times.Obviously,the college educators' development of ritual education is directly restricted by the change of social etiquette concepts.On the other hand,since the Han dynasty,the Buddhist ritual education and the long history of local official ritual education have brought challenges to the development of the new academy ritual education.The development of the two in song dynasty and the subtle relationship with the academy education indirectly contributed to the rise of the academy ritual education.The types of college ritual education activities are mainly reflected in the college worship,examination and lecture.The different types of college ritual education all show the characteristics of sacredness and symbolism,and the moral education runs through them all the time.The ritual education of the academy sets up and implements the concept of "moral education first",integrates the traditional social ethics,moral cultivation and social responsibility consciousness into the ritual education,and promotes the realization of the educational goal of "moral cultivation,governing the country,regulating the family and balancing the world".This is reflected in two aspects: one is the cultural function.The academy inherits the classical thoughts of moral education in the traditional social culture,and displays a series of ritualized behaviors with educational implications in the activities of sacrifice,lecture and class examination,which are in line with the traditional social and cultural norms,and then spreads and consolidates the traditional cultural values inherited by the academy,which is the cultural inheritance function.Moreover,the academy is the product of the traditional social transformation and change period,and its moral education concept is integrated with the new cultural value of the social transformation and change period.This has led to the emergence of different academic schools,resulting in different academic biographies of the academy.Only those scholars who are admired and admired by the academy will be respected sincerely.This is called the function of academic cultural identity.The second is the function of enlightenment.Through the ritual activities,the participants were baptized and educated by the Confucian moral concepts,and the moral customs of the Confucian academy were transmitted by cultural symbols such as sages.Advocating the value orientation of worship of literature and Confucianism and standardizing the words and deeds of college students and teachers reflect the performance of education and reflect the sacred and symbolic characteristics of college ritual education to ensure the realization of the value of moral education.Although the traditional ritual education of the college originated in a specific historical environment,its content also bears the imprint of traditional Chinese society.However,due to the inherent logical continuity of Chinese culture,the traditional college education is not incompatible with the contemporary school ritual education,and the traditional college ritual education has important contemporary value.Traditional academies attach great importance to ritual education,rational planning of ritual education,elaborate deepening of ritual education and correct implementation of ritual education.
