Research In Factors Influencing The Ability To Raise Funds For Tertiary Education Foundations In China

For tertiary educations,trying their best to get funds from society plays a critical role in helping their finance.In order to raise funds more efficiently and widely,it can be seen that education donations have been established by an increasing numbers of colleges and universities.Due to a variety of reasons such as late start and short course,the ability to raise funds for tertiary education foundations in China is still relatively weak,which is manifested in a single fund-raising mode,a small scale of fund-raising and low efficiency of fund-raising.This situation has weakened the educational foundation's role in promoting the development of various undertakings in colleges and universities.Therefore,it is of great practical value and theoretical significance to research in factors influencing the ability to raise funds for tertiary education foundations in China and put forward reasonable countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the realization of the functions of education foundations,strengthening the connection between universities and society,and improving the allocation efficiency of tertiary education resources.Following the basic research ideas of literature review-theoretical expositionempirical analysis-countermeasures and suggestions,the paper,based on a systematic analysis of the current development situation of China's tertiary education foundations,focuses on the main factors influencing the ability to raise funds and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.As for this paper,it mainly includes the following aspects:Firstly,it expounds the background and significance of the topic selected,which combs the research results of scholars at home and abroad,grasps the research ideas,and clarifies the research methods.Secondly,it introduces the development process of the education foundation in colleges and universities,and defines the basic connotation of the education foundation in colleges and universities,which also expounds the theoretical origin of the education foundation in colleges and universities based on the relevant theories of cost sharing,principal-agent,stakeholders,information asymmetry and so on.Thirdly,it analyzes the current situation of the development of education foundation in colleges and universities of China,which summarizes the achievements of the education foundation of colleges and universities in improving the policy framework and regulating the management over the years.Besides,it analyzes the challenges faced by the education foundation in colleges and universities,such as the unreasonable income structure and the imperfect information disclosure system.Fourthly,it uses the method of factor analysis and multiple regression analysis to make an empirical analysis on the factors influencing the ability to raise funds for tertiary education foundations according to the sample data.Thus,it is concluded that operating ability,development ability,financial transparency,management efficiency and organizational age are the main factors influencing the ability to raise funds for tertiary education foundations.Finally,it puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions to improve the ability to raise funds for tertiary education foundations of China according to the conclusion of empirical analysis.First of all,it should improve the operation ability and management performance of the foundation.Secondly,it should strengthen the construction of the financial management system of the foundation.Thirdly,it should improve the information disclosure system of the foundation.Fourthly,it should optimize the external environment of the foundation.The purpose of it is to make the education foundation in colleges and universities undertake the responsibility of financing for the society and supplementing the education funds,so as to promote the sustainable development of tertiary educations in our country.
