A Research On University Education Foundation Fund Raising Mechanism In The Perspective Of Stakeholder

With the recruitment expansion of higher education and the rising cost of education, it is necessary for the university to broaden the source of the education finance. For this reason, the university education foundation was set up in this context. The university have achieved great success even some of them reach hundreds of millions of assets value. However, something must be changed for its operating mechanism. This article is going to inquire into "A" university education foundation fund-raising process and collect first-hand information by using the theory of stakeholder to analysis foundation fund-raising mechanism. The aim for this article is to find out foundation existing problems in the fund raising mechanism and puts forward the solution.Through the study, we found that fund-raising mechanism of "A" university education foundation closely linked with many stakeholders, such as contributors, council, school management and so on. Those stakeholders plays great important role in foundation. For this reason, education foundation need to regard for those need. However, it relies on some resources from university in China. This relationship have caused many problem, such as "Dissecting" management; lack of incentive mechanism and so on.This article analyze current situation from "A" university and classify the stakeholder, such as Definitive Stakeholders, Expectant Stakeholders and Latent Stakeholders. On this account, the article analyze those stakeholder’s effect in fund-raising process. In order to let the education foundation fully interactive with stakeholders, the research makes a conclusion that rebuild the relationship between foundation and university, establish a "performance" as the guidance of the incentive mechanism and improve the supervision mechanism gradually.
