Research On Fund-raising Mechanism Of University Education Foundation From The Perspective Of Social Capital Theory

University education foundation is a non-profit organization which established by the university according to law, the purpose is to serve the public welfare undertaking of university education through raise funds, project management, capital operation and other legal procedures. Based on the case of Shandong university education foundation, The author use the basic elements of social capital theory:trust, reciprocity norms, network as the cut-in point, analysis the funding mechanism of university education foundation and put forward relevant improvement path by using the theory of social capital.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part, pose the question, analysis the theoretical significance and practical value of research the university education foundation from the perspective of social capital. After a brief discuss on social capital theory, the author made a literature review to identify the research ideas. The second part, introduced the connotation and the development of university education foundation, then put forward the necessity and significance of establish a university education foundation in China. Expound the emergence and development of university education foundation on the whole meaning. Part three, introduced the found background, source of financing, fundraising channels, present financing situation, advantages and disadvantages of the financing of the university education foundation taking Shandong university education foundation for example. Part four, with the perspective of social capital theoretical to analysis the fund raising mechanism of university education foundation in China and discussed the influence factors of the fund-raising mechanism. The last part, probe into improvement path of the fund raising mechanism in university education foundation, in order to enhance the ability of raise funds and play a better role in college construction and development.
