| The consumption structure is the proportion relation among the various consumption materials(including service)that people consume in a certain society. It is a measure of a country's social and economic development is the key to a virtuous circle, but also reflects the quality of life of residents change one of the important indicators.Studying the consumption structure from the sociological perspective is conducive to grasping the current social characteristics, because the proportion of various consumption contents in the consumption structure is not just some numbers in the sociological perspective, more important is the sociological significance of these numbers.Guided by Pierre Bourdieu's field as habit theory, this paper describes the consumption structure of the elderly in a community in Lz city by means of questionnaire and interview, and takes time as the axis, this paper analyzes and compares the development trend of the consumption structure of the elderly in the past 20 years, and probes into the causes of these changes and their sociological significance. The research finds that, first of all,at the age level, although age is negatively related to the amount of food consumption expenditure, the urban elderly pay more and more attention to the content of food consumption;age is positively related to health care consumption, indicating that the current level of medical burden of urban elderly is still very heavy;at the gender level, female elderly have symbolic consumption;at the income level, income The level is not related to the tourism consumption expenditure, and the consumption demand tends to be diversified, because the tourism consumption behavior of the elderly will be restricted by many factors, and the diversified social forms are constantly meeting the consumption demand of the elderly;secondly,by analyzing and comparing the survey data,it is found that the economic support demand of the urban elderly at this stage is basically met,and the consumption level is being eliminated by the survival type The medical burden is heavy and the demand for medical and health services is increasing. Finally, based on the background theory of this study, this paper analyzes and compares the consumption structure of the elderly in different fields and different types of urban elderly in the same field. That is to say, compared with the underdeveloped areas in the northwest, the elderly in the developed areas in the East have a strong sense of social participation, more diversified income, more cultural and entertainment consumption, and less pressure on medical consumption;compared with the elderly in the city,in order to adapt to the urban field, the elderly of urban immigrants have symbolic consumption and continue to socialize more. Therefore, the reasons for such changes and trends in the consumption structure of the elderly are not only the objective field factors, such as the social environment and the degree of population aging, but also the consumption habits established through the objective structure and personal contact, such as age difference, income difference, education level difference and family structure difference. These factors interact with each other, influence each other and restrict each other. The consumption demand is driven by the field, which is reflected in the process of the old people'sconsumption habits adapting to the urban field and continuing to socialize. The individual characteristics of the elderly restrict their consumption structure to a certain extent with the growth of age,but they live in the dynamic and empirical urban field, which in turn releases the consumption structure of the urban elderly to a certain extent. The fast-paced urban life is a special field for the elderly. The differences between the elderly and the mainstream consumer groups show the inequality of consumer subjects, which creates a new leisure class in the urban field. |
