No.5 Middle School of MiLe city is in Hong He State,Yunnan province,which located in the border area of the motherland.There are a number of students from backward areas and ethnic minority areas,whose basic education has a distinguish difference,and even some of the urban students also a weak learning ability.Traditional teaching usually adopt the method of synchronous teaching,which means the unified teaching material is the content of students' learning,the unified classroom teaching is the main teaching method,and the unified examination promotes the students' learning mode of "relying on rote memorization" without seeking for any further understanding.As a result,some students of junior middle school can ' t get a full understanding of the biology knowledge and They lost interests in biology and feel it hard to have a good command of biology.What's worse,it affected their academic performance and keep them from applying new knowledge into our real life.So how to train a qualified student having rich biology knowledge become the focus of the current teaching reform.In 2011,the Ministry of Education promulgated the “Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standard”,which took us a new round of curriculum reform promoting.The standard requires biology teacher should focus on the individual differences of students and learning initiative and enthusiasm in the learning process,according to the students actual need.The teachers should take a proper methods and means to give lessons and promote students to develop individually,which will lead more students to master the biology better.Therefore,this study will introduce the Professor Li Shifa's great work-Asynchronous Teaching method to Mile No 5 Middle School,which is mainly based on students' autonomous learning and teachers' guidance is complementary.Using all effective teaching conditions and strict organization class inside and outside the teaching activities,fully develop the students' ability to apply the scientific thinking method to solve the problem,achieve the goal of effective improve the teaching quality of biology.Based on the consulting a lot of number of literature and questionnaire survey.It is guided by the Theory of Multiple Intelligences,the Theory of Learning,and the Theory of Constructivism.Compiling the basic principles of asynchronous teaching in biology teaching in junior middle school,Four teaching cases using asynchronous teaching method were designed,an experimental class and a control class were set up,and asynchronous teaching method was implemented in the experimental class,and a comparative study between asynchronous teaching method and traditional teaching method was conducted.Results show that the experimental Class students' have significantly improved in interest in biology,the independent learning ability and grades.Besides,He experimental Class is better than comparative class in the condition of classroom teaching,results of questionnaire survey and test scores,which suggests combining biology characteristics of asynchronous teaching method has certain advantages in junior high school biology teaching.It will probably become an effective biological teaching method,which can effectively improve the quality of junior high school biology teaching and has a certain reference value in biological teaching reform of the school and the same type of school.
