Along with the advancement of quality education, more andmore attention to personality development, people-oriented concept is deeply rootedin the hearts of the people. Sports as part of the education, especially the college PEin the reform and development of quality education plays an indispensable role, howto make the university sports meet the demands of the development of qualityeducation reform is one of the university sports workers have been thinking about.Quality education advocates the development of personality and creativity, in thesports teaching is how to dig the students’ initiative and creativity, in order toconform to the development of quality education.Traditional sports teaching method is the teacher in class as the main body,almost in an actual classroom teaching, the teachers teach, students learn what,according to the outline of the unity of the school teachers for all students unifiedrequest, ignoring the students’ individual differences, hinder the development ofstudents comprehensive, and the concept of quality education advocated in today. Itis in this context, the author will asynchronous teaching method references to theordinary university volleyball elective course, through the experiment researchwhether this kind of teaching method is suitable for college PE reform, whether itcan promote the development of quality education.This study based on the asynchronous teaching method in volleyball electivecourse in the teaching experiment, obtained experimental classes of students thanthat in comparative classes in terms of learning motivation and active practicevolleyball after class and mastery of the technology are significant. Asynchronousteaching method in the practical teaching on the basis of the students’ individualdevelopment, both individual differences of students according to their aptitude,changing the past students passively accept knowledge, achieve all-rounddevelopment, to establish the dominant position of students, give full play to students’ learning enthusiasm and creativity, so that the students can learn something,learn music, to cultivate the students’ practice ability and creative ability.This study aims to promote further reform of college PE teaching methods,introducing asynchronous teaching method in the ordinary university volleyballelective course teaching, let the development of volleyball in colleges anduniversities more popular, more students are willing to go to learning volleyball.This article mainly USES the literature material method, expert interview method,questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, teachingexperiment, two classes in Zunyi normal college class of2012undergraduatestudents as the research object, and36class hours for a semester teachingexperiment. Through to the traditional teaching mode and asynchronous teachingvolleyball elective course of comparative study, the experimental classes and that incomparative classes of basic technology and physical quality, volleyball teachingrecognition experiment analysis, found that the experimental class scoressignificantly better than that in comparative classes and obvious effect, furtherdemonstrates the asynchronous teaching to improve students’ learning interest,improve the enthusiasm and initiative of students in the classroom practice andcultivate the students’ independent innovation ability is superior to traditionalteaching. Through the teaching experiment proved that the asynchronous teachingmethod can effectively improve the technical level of students, in the practicalteaching by means of the principal position of students in learning, to enhance theinteraction between teachers and students, live interaction. Asynchronous teachingmethod is beneficial to improve the level of teachers’ teaching business, selfinnovation ability of students, through self-study can fully mobilize students’learning enthusiasm, improve students volleyball original motive. Asynchronousteaching method is suitable for volleyball elective course in colleges and universitiesteaching, therefore, an effective teaching method, at the same time can also provide abeneficial reference for other major teaching.
