Mathematical modeling is a process of establishing a mathematical model according to actual problems,the process of solving practical problems by solving mathematical models.As a graduate course,mathematical modeling has gradually developed into primary and secondary school curriculum,which has experienced a long process.The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" strengthens the weight of mathematical modeling,clearly puts forward the requirements of class hours to carry out mathematical modeling activities,and requires students to master mathematical modeling literacy,so mathematical modeling is very important.This study analyzes the current situation of mathematical modeling teaching in senior high school through literature and questionnaire,and uses cognitive structure learning theory,constructivism theory,multiple intelligences theory and humanistic theory to support mathematical modeling teaching in senior high school,and designs mathematical modeling cases in senior high school.Through a mathematical modeling case designed in practice,this paper studies the situation of mathematical modeling teaching in senior high school,and finally understands the situation and problems of mathematical modeling course through interview and case study.The main conclusions of the study are as follows: first,under the guidance of the 2017 version of the curriculum standard,mathematical modeling will have further development,and case teaching method,inquiry teaching method and discussion teaching method can be adopted to help students develop in an all-round way.however,there are still some problems in the development of mathematical modeling course in senior high school,such as teachers' lack of experience,difficulty in carrying out mathematical modeling teaching,lack of cases in mathematical modeling teaching and so on.Second,most teachers and students have a certain understanding of mathematical modeling,and are willing to further understand mathematical modeling;most students do not know how to start with slightly flexible modeling problems.Third,the design of the case should be in line with the cognition of most senior high school students,teachers should grasp the difficulty of the case,from easy to difficult,students can understand and then use the corresponding mathematical model.Fourth,the teaching of mathematical modeling in senior high school still needs to be practiced many times,which can't just be a mere formality.The innovation of the research lies in: in view of the three levels of mathematical modeling literacy in senior high school,the case of mathematical modeling in senior high school is designed,and the practical teaching is carried out in the mathematical modeling section of the latest version of the mathematical textbook of senior high school.Through literature analysis,there is not much literature to study these two works,and further research can promote the better development of mathematical modeling course in senior high school.
