In recent years,mathematical modeling has been gradually transferred from universities to the secondary schools,but most middle schools do not pay attention to it,and teachers lack teaching experience and knowledge reserve in mathematical modeling.With the reform of Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Senior High School(2017),it is proposed that mathematical modeling is one of the core qualities of the six major mathematical disciplines,which lays an important position for mathematical modeling literacy.Grasping the development of middle school students' mathematical modeling literacy can provide a basis for the selection and determination of teaching contents and methods.In order to understand the development process of the mathematical modeling literacy of Senior high school,According to the new curriculum standard,this paper compiled the mathematical modeling test paper,which explained the mathematical modeling literacy from the four dimensions,situation and problem,knowledge and skills,thinking and expression,communication and reflection.This paper mainly adopts the method of case study to investigate and analyze the mathematical modeling literacy of senior two students,and further conducts targeted interviews with students and experienced teachers according to the feedback of test results.Through the investigation,the following results are obtained: after a period of intervention,the mathematical modeling literacy level of S1-S3 students has developed from the original graduation level to the college entrance examination level.Student S4 is still at the college entrance examination level of mathematical modeling literacy.Student S5 has a tendency to develop from the college entrance examination level to the application level.Based on the above research results,students' mathematical modeling literacy level has been improved after a period of study and special training.In teaching,teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' thinking,conduct more guidance of mathematical methods and teaching of mathematical modeling knowledge,and guide students to conduct mathematical modeling.Then,students' mathematical modeling literacy will be greatly developedand improved,and basically reach the college entrance examination level.Students with active thinking and high quality of mathematical modeling will be able to reach the level of application expansion.
