With the continuous deepening and promotion of the basic educational curriculum reform,the local geography curriculum resources,as the geography around us,are paid more and more attention.The effective application of the local geography curriculum resources in geography teaching in high schools is of great significance both in theory and in practice.From the perspective of theory,it can not only implement the new geography curriculum concept well,but also explore the local geography curriculum resources of the county and supplement the contents of textbook.From the perspective of practice,it can not only cultivate students' interest in learning geography,but also enable them to develop the ability to learn geography,at the same time,they can learn to solve some practical problems with the geography knowledge they have learned.On the other hand,it can also promote students' own professional development,and provide some references for front-line geography teachers in the using process of local geography curriculum resources.Therefore,the combination of local geography curriculum resources and high school geography teaching is an inevitable trend in the development of geography teaching in the future.This paper aims to explore and sort out the potential local geography curriculum resources in Lintao County,and focuses on how to apply them in geography teaching in high schools better so as to find a practical way for better application of local geography curriculum resources in teaching.Based on the new geography curriculum standard,this study firstly defined the relevant concepts by reading a large number of domestic and foreign references,put forward to the theoretical basis of this paper and summarized the research on local geography curriculum resources at home and abroad.Secondly,the local geographical resources of Lintao county were collected by means of literature review,investigation in the real field and communication with the first-line geography teachers of the county and then they were screened according to the new geography curriculum standards and high school geography textbooks,and at last classified according to the general methods of regional geography learning.The typical ruralgeography curriculum resources in Lintao county are summarized from three aspects: geographical location,natural geography curriculum resources and social economy curriculum resources.Again,the local geography curriculum resources were connected with the geography textbooks for middle school students,which can be used to guide the specific use in the geography textbooks.Then it elaborated on how to use it.This paper focuses on the application of local geography curriculum resources in classroom teaching and geography practice teaching activities.It is proposed that the classroom teaching should be mainly applied from the following three aspects: the introduction of new lessons,the learning of new lessons and the review of classes.Besides,it also proposed to give examples and carry out local geography case teaching.In the geography teaching activities,it was mainly applied by carrying out geographical fieldwork and geographical survey,and designed corresponding practice activities.Finally,three principles are put forward for the application of local geography curriculum resources in geography teaching in senior high schools: student-oriented,timely and appropriate,and diversified.This paper is mainly aimed to improve the author's own teaching level,arouse the attention of front-line geography teachers to the development and utilization of local geography curriculum resources,train students' regional cognitive ability and geographical practice better,and provide certain theoretical and teaching practice references for everyone.
