Research On The Relationship Of College Students’ Interest In Career And Its Personality Traits

With the development of Chinese education in recent years, the highereducation in China has been developed form the elite education to populareducation stage gradually. At present, there a lot of problems exists in Chinesehigher education, such as the expanding of the enrollment scale, the increaasingnumber of graduates and the employment pressure of students etc. Especially theuniversity students do not know how to choose thier career or choose their careerblind. The reason cause these phenomenin are largely because most of theuniversity students are not fully aware of their own personality and occupationinterest, which leads to the misplacement of occupation exists. Personality traitsand occupation interst are the key factor affecting the university student to choosetheir carrer. After the author’s investingation found out that there are a lot ofreaserch about unversity student occupation option on aboard and there few inChina. What’s more, the reaserch in China is lack of objective quantitive.Therefore, this paper hasimportant theoretical and practical significance forguiding college students’occupation choice.Scale and the scoring method used inthis study were collected from the Cattell16PF personality questionnaire andHollander interest scale, through statistical software SPSS20.0, using analysis ofvariance, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, draw the followingconclusion.
