As a result of the new round of education reform,China's Ministry of Education has put forward the concept of "core literacy",which also marks the new development stage of China's basic education reform.The proposition of college entrance examination also gradually turns to examine students' subject concepts,subject principles and laws,subject thinking and methods.How to adapt to the new college entrance examination under the core literacy has become a difficult problem for front-line teaching.This study attempts to apply topic-based situational teaching in the review of geography micro-topics in senior three,so that students can experience advanced development of geography thinking in a situation that runs through the whole process,realize the transformation from shallow learning to deep learning,and further achieve the ultimate goal of cultivating core quality of geography.Under the guidance of the latest general senior high school geography curriculum standards,this study first reviews the research progress in situational teaching,thematic situational teaching,micro-topics,etc.through literature reading.Then,through the interview and investigation of geography teachers in senior three,we can understand the current application of thematic situational teaching in the review of geography micro-topics in senior three.On the basis of the above research,this research constructs the basic principles and implementation strategies of applying thematic situational teaching in the review of geography micro-topics in senior three.The basic principles mainly include: theme and subjectivity,discipline and uniqueness,logicality and systematicness.The implementation strategy mainly includes eight aspects: refinement of theme selection,rationalization of target determination,theme of situation creation,gradient of problem design,interaction of activities,structuring of content summary,flexibility of transfer and application,and stratification of thinking evaluation.Finally,this study uses theme-based situational teaching to design three different types of micro-topic teaching cases,i.e."content integration class"(the influence of terrain on climate),"hot spot analysis class"(the influence factors of high-speed rail layout)and "question type breakthrough class"(the thinking of solving geography examination questions),in order to provide some reference for geography teaching in senior 3 and promote the improvement of review efficiency of college entrance examination and the professional ability of geography teachers.
