The Nineteenth National Congress of the Party clearly put forward : We should comprehensively adhere to the Party's educational policy and carry out the fundamental task of building up people by virtue,develop quality education and promote educational fairness,and develop the all-round socialism's builders and successors.Obviously the primary purpose of education is to build up people by virtue,and then to train those who can exist and develop in society,to promote the development of their home and country.With the development of the productivity and the advancement of the new curriculum reform,the teaching method is changed from the traditional to the modern,the curriculum stucture presents acomprehensive and balanced trend,and the importance of the local geography is also increasingly recognized by the general geologists.Therefore,this paper develops the subject-based situation teaching case suitable for the geography teaching in Zhangjiakou with the local geography as the background.The theme-based situational teaching of local geography is helpful to stimulate students' interest in learning and to cultivate the core accomplishment of geography.However,there are many problems in the present situation of local geography teaching,for example,the implementation of local geography teaching is not in place,the way of utilization is unreasonable,and so on.Based on this,under the guidance of learning motivation theory,situational teaching theory and constructivism theory,this paper investigates some students and teachers in Zhangjiakou No.1 Middle School.Through the investigation,it is found that the students and teachers have a strong interest in local geography,and the interest points are focused on the geographical environment of their hometown,the potential of economic development,and so on.According to the survey data,the research on local geography,combined with the development procedure of theme-based situational teaching of local geography in Zhangjiakou City,focused on the design and application of the bid for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.Agricultural location factors of characteristic crops-naked oats(naked oats),two cases of thematic situation teaching of native geography.The two cases carry out the principles of practicality,development and inquiry,and present them in the thematic form.The purpose is to facilitate the integration of the case and the knowledgepoints in the geography teaching materials,relieve the pressure of teaching,save the teaching time,and make the cases serve the geography teaching efficiently and conveniently.
