Research On Realization Means Of High School Students' Political Socialization From Political Science Course

Political socialization emphasizes the transformation of individuals from "natural" to "political",which is an important link for a country to maintain political stability and social harmony.High school is a key stage in adolescence,and the degree of political socialization at this stage is an important criterion for that of a country's citizens.However,at present,there are some political socialization problems among minority high school students such as vague cognition,apathetic feelings and lacking the awareness of political participation.The causes of these problems are influenced by students,as well as by schools,society,home education,peer groups and the mass media.High school students are not mature enough to make right judgments and choices of value in the face of conflicts.Therefore,ideological and political courses are required to exert their effectiveness,and positively guide the high school students' political cognition,political emotions,and political participation consciousness and ability,and actively promote the political socialization of high school students.Although the current political social science course has obvious effects on it,there are still some problems.For example,under the existing teaching methods,students still have vague cognition,insufficient political feelings and low participation initiative.Teacher quality is one of the cause,but more importantly,teachers lack platforms to carry out more forms of activities because of the pressure to increase university admission rate.Therefore,in order to achieve the goal of promoting the political socialization of high school students,not only does it require teachers to constantly update and improve their own knowledge systems,explore and innovate more teaching methods,but also demands schools to integrate social forces and provide more platforms for teachers.In the meantime,the curriculum evaluation mechanism should also be optimized.
