Analysis On Current Status Of Political Socialization For College Students Of Science And Engineering

As a relatively weak political knowledge and a large majority of the number of college students,the status quo of political socialization needs our attention and consideration.The paper adopts the method of empirical research,according to the theory study and work experience gained by the author working as a front-line counselor for many years,aims to focus on the political knowledge,political emotion,political norms and political participation etc.to study the ideological and political status,especially the political socialization status of Colleges of science and Engineering and summarize its characteristics.Based on the relevant data,the author mainly uses the method of parameter object comparison and analysis to compare and analyze the differences among the students of science and techno logy.And sums up the positive aspects of the political socialization of the students of science and technology,such as having basic political knowledge and literacy,having more active political participation and having stronger political norms,etc..According to the outstanding problems of the college students,the paper summarizes the reasons why the political socialization of the college students is not enough,and puts forward the social environment,political culture atmosphere,family education,network development and the new media and subjective factors of the university students.According to the outstanding problems of Polytechnic university students,this paper summarizes the reasons for the deficiency of political socialization in Polytechnic University,and puts forward five reasons for the universality of college students:social environment,University political culture,family education,network development,and subjective factors.The paper points out that the political knowledge of science and technology students is insufficient,political cognition is relatively simple,social interaction is more closed,political discrimination is weak,political migration is insufficient and network attachment phenomenon is widespread,political education is not specific,political education is disjointed from professional education,political practice platform is lacking,the development planning of science and technology students is weak,and political education and practice are not linked Education and practice.According to the above reasons,the author put forward the ways and countermeasures to improving the political socialization of college students.As for the general requirements of college students,there are some requirements such as optimizing the social environment,building a good campus culture atmosphere,constructing a harmonious family environment,enhancing the humanistic literacy of college students,cultivating political ability and making full use of the network platform to enhance the effectiveness of political learning.As for the special requirements of Polytechnic college students,there are two dimensions of political education and practice:in the aspect of Polytechnic college students themselves,the countermeasures of integrating political study into personal growth planning,stimulating motivation and behavior of social integration,awakening consciousness of attention to political life,strengthening cross-disciplinary communication and interaction,and promoting political theory with classical reading are put forward.In the aspect of political education and practice in colleges and universities,this paper puts forward some countermeasures such as integrating the practical activities of party group education into the study of political theory,enriching the content of ideological and political education with case and practice,developing group activities to guide the students of science and technology off the network,and paying attention to the ritual education of special time node and character events.
